Nothing has changed then since I took my car in a year ago. I was treated to this visual check rubbish my advice to anybody is find a good approachable local independent garage/service centre.

I Took My Peugeot 207 In For A Two Year Service At

I took my Peugeot 207 in for a two year service at Chapelhouse in St Helens as my friend had recommended them. I have been into many main dealers in the past and always found them expensive and rather rude. However, the service I received at Chapelhouse was nothing short of outstanding. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, the service was completed bang on time and even the service manager introduced himself to me when walking through the waiting area. I cannot praise chapelhouse enough for their customer service. Well done. I will be buying my next car from Chapelhouse.

What Can I Say About The Motor Trade That Has Not

What can I say about the motor trade that has not been said already?

Took my Kia Ceed into Chapel House Motors at Warrington Cheshire for its first service after twelve months with 4500 miles on the clock and was treated to the usual open wallet surgery. One hundred and twenty pounds for an oil change, filter and a rubber stamp in my service book, and that was with a twenty pound voucher. Not bad for just over an hours work.

When I booked the vehicle in they asked if there had been any problems in the first year and I told them that I suspected the rear brake maybe sticking. When collecting the car a stone faced receptionist informed me that there was a great deal of dust round the disc but quickly told me that they were not prepared to investigate further

because this was not covered by the cars SEVEN YEAR WARRANTY and they wanted my authority to invoice for this work. This was amazing as I had just heard the chap in front of me being giving exactly the same spiel

Being sixty eight years old I should have known better to fall for these so called guarantees connected to very expensive servicing by main dealers. There are so many top class independent garages out there and in the future that's were I shall go, and blow the so called warranty.
