Two Months And Still Waiting

I ordered a duvet 2 months ago. The website states I would receive within 28 days. Despite several chasers I am still waiting. I have been assured it is being dealt with and told the company is busy but it’s very poor service. My last email has gone unanswered for two days. Does anyone know who I can complain to?

The problem you have is that this company does not actually exist and is not registered with companies house, so, sadly you have nobody to bring your grievances to

Excellent Customer Service

Super fast deliver! Goods were delivered within 24 hours of ordering - free delivery. When I emailed them with the details of a slight fault on a sheet I had received, they sent me a new one the next day without quibbling, and told me I could keep the original faulty sheet, saving me the bother of having to return it. They responded to my emails almost immediately, even on a Saturday. Excellent customer service!

wait until you wash them - you will change your mind! - expect shrinkage of over 1 ft on king size sheets, duvets etc

Awful Customer Service & Poor Quality Product.

At the end of November purchased 2 'Luxury' Brushed Cotton King size, deep fitted sheets, one of which is unopened. I thought that being quite expensive these sheets wouldn't shed like others I have purchased in the past.

However, the extreme shedding of bits of flannelette, from the areas where our feet lie in the bed, is so bad that we have to vacuum our bedroom carpet daily, despite having first washed the product as advised. I rang to make this retailer aware of the defect with this product. The woman I spoke to this morning told me that the manufacturer could pick the sheets up &, when they were sure there was a fault, they could refund my money. So far, so good except that she then went on to suggest a couple of 'better quality' sheets, which come from Portugal, that they sell. When I asked her if these would be sent as a free replacement she firmly said no, I would be required to place a further order with them. When I mentioned that, not only would I be without the sheets but she was suggesting I buy more sheets from them costing almost double the price I had paid originally without even offering offering a goodwill discount, she simply said 'Well you didn't ask for that'. I do not expect a retailer to make a sales pitch to me about buying different sheets from them when I'm complaining about the ones I've got!

Did You Brush Up On Sateen Weave Vs Percale Weave?

Yup, they are types of weave, sateen being the inferior, but still very good for sleepers that like warmth, when I decided to query the heading from the web site, which is 'luxury sateen percale', the response from linen cupboard was, 'they are both'. Awfully sorry folks, you just paid for percale, and probably received sateen... oh well...

Paid For 1000tc Egyptian Cotton And Got 1000tc Cotton

The linens advertised as 1000tc Egyptian cotton are just cotton. This is also confirmed on the labels, which state 1000tc cotton rather than Egyptian cotton. I bought a set of pillowcases from another retailer just to compare the quality. The other retailer's linens look shinier and are much softer (the way Egyptian cotton should be) and also iron better. The difference becomes apparent especially after a couple of washes. Too late to return as they have been used....Shame as the duvet cover on its own cost me £180 :(

I bought Exclusive Luxury 100% Egyptian Cotton Percale king flat sheet and got something called The Portofino Collection, Pure.Cotton.Sateen. I am not impressed and will return it. Very disappointed.

Not As Described And Annoying Sale Policies

Described as a 10in deep fitted sheet, it is actually too shallow for a 10in deep mattress. They're just measuring the depth of the sheet sides! We bought in one of Line Cupboards regular 'Sales' to by the time they'd received our return the 'Sale had ended andwe'd have had to pay full price for the deeper sheets. Emailed them about this but they didn't bother to reply. We went elsewhere.

Expensive And Disappointing

Matress cover for small double bed was inferior quality and far more expensive than one bought previously from John Lewis. From discription thought buying superior quality - very disappointed.
