Wish I had read the reviews before taking out a policy online. Ridiculous threatening demand email wanting further info after setting up and paying for policy online. Just trying to increase premium tactic.

Then charged me £65 cancellation fee + commission + a few days insurance cover at at ridiculous price. Refunded approx 50% of premium after policy in force for a few days and within 14day cooling off period. Complete rip off merchants. No surprise as I see they are part of Adrian Flux. Steer well clear!

What Nightmare of company stay away and save money, cant get hold of them 5 Times TIRED ringing

3 emails, 5 Days LATER rang Me back, Ive Cancelled the Policy Now,

imagine if Had accident and needed get hold of someone not chance in hell will you get hold of any body....

I changed the bike on my policy and they tool me to the cleaners. Beware they are expensive and do not do anything to warrant the premium price they charge.

Claimed a locked up wooden garage isnt a garage and asked for £56 extra to not cancel my insurance! Never use them!

When I first set up this insurance, they were blackmailing me, saying that my insurance was at risk of being invalid even though all the payments had been made. It took them 4 days after I had to speak to them on several different occasions. Then, on my second week, they took out an additional £35 because I did not sign the policy, even though they did not tell me to and just took the money out of my account without any consideration.

I emailed them 2 weeks before hand to cancel my policy, which they replied to after 4 days. After this, they charge me £18.54 cancellation fee, which is fair enough, but on top of this charge, they add a £35 administration fee. This adds up to my monthly insurance, and they did not even let me know that they will be taking money out of my account, they took it upon themselves and did it. Only after I emailed them, they let me know what the charges were for. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY (BIKESURE) AT ALL COSTS WHEN LOOKING TO INSURE YOU MOTORCYCLE.

This company throw the hook out with a low price compared to competitors and once you bite, they will reel you in and then boom......2 days later they will hit you with an email telling you to contact them urgently or your insurance will be null and void.

In my case, when I contacted them (as soon as I recieved this email), they said I had not declared an accident from over a year ago .....

Now, this accident in question was not even an accident that involved myself!!! My wife was in HER car on her OWN, stationary at traffic lights when another driver hit her car! I wasn't even in the same country at the time!

BIKESURE said as my name was on the same insurance policy at the time this will affect my initial quotation with them and they will have to provide a new quote which was more than double of the first quote!!!! Wait....what? Yes that's right, they tried to DOUBLE the quotation because my WIFES car was hit by another car more than a year ago when I wasn't even in the country!!

So, I laughed and told them to where to go and to cancel the policy that I had taken out with them only 2 days prior, to be told there was a cancellation fee!!! Excuse me what? Yes, a cancellation fee more than what the deposit was for the insurance.

Now let me also say, the customer service this from this company is zero......nada......zilch.

They will talk over you.

They won't listen to anything you say.

They will take as much money from you as they can.

They will try to extort every penny possible for any reason whatsoever.

I am persistent and won't give in, so in the end I managed to get my full deposit back after a 'very long' heated discussion with them over the phone and it was only when I threatened to report them to the ombudsman and negative review them over all social media platforms that they finally gave in and agreed to a refund of my deposit.

Lastly, you may think that you have nothing to worry about as you don't have anything that they could possibly pick up on that will affect the cost......WRONG....they will just double or treble your policy on the rewnewal date (don't believe me? Check out the other negative reviews)

Please do yourself a favour.....don't try to save yourself a few quid by going with a sham company like Bikesure, pay a little extra and go to a more reputable insurance provider.

Took out an insurance policy via moneysupermarket, all seemed fine then they call up a day later to “validate” my policy. They ask a bunch of questions that were already answered via the price comparison website. They make up some changes and try to charge me an extra £90 for completely meaningless details that weren’t a change from what I put into money supermarket. The phone line then gets cut off as I was on a ferry, and I forget about it without paying the extra £90. A week later they cancel my policy, charging me the £65 cancellation fee. When I said that there shouldn’t have been any changes to my policy, they say that “not all details come through from the price comparison website” - if that’s the case then that’s not my fault and they shouldn’t be selling the policy without getting the information first! Tried to get the admin fee reversed but obviously they weren’t going to do that. Avoid this sham company.

As has been posted already here, I would not recommend Bikesure. Poor customer service, hours on the phone, documents incomplete, tried to cancel insurance within 14 days ' cooling off period' and was still charged a cancellation fee before the policy had even started! Was actually told that the cooling-off period did not apply to them as was stated in their terms. I am left feeling they are not trustworthy and I would like to trust whoever insures me. As others have mentioned here, my declaration was questioned and they tried to increase my mileage estimation and double the premium - sales team trickery

Avoid at all costs. They come up with all reasons to cancel your insurance once you’ve paid…. I.e. if you don’t submit you NCB info. And surprise surprise, there’s a huge cancellation fee. I submitted all info but sold my bike shortly after taking the insurance out. The refund amount was £2.01. An absolute joke. I was previously with carol nash and had a fabulous service. I’ll be sticking with carol Nash in future.

Went ahead with an insurance policy online, instead of being given a certificate, I was notified they were doing hoax checks. Fair enough. I needed something quick, so responded to their email shortly afterwards (11 minutes) and cancelled it. Went elsewhere and got insurance issued immediately. I was charged nearly £100 for the insurance that as never edited for 11 minutes. Complained and went through the motions, they don't care. Awful company, will never use and will hit you with admin charge after admin charge. AVOID this company, there are far better insurers out there. I went with Harley Davidson direct, they were far better. BIKESURE will TRICK you whenever they can.
