Incompetent

I’ve received a text saying that a delivery it’s on the way 3 days ago. I haven’t received it. Next day in the morning I had another text with the same content. In the evening a new text was saying that my order has been delivered, but it wasn’t. Today, another one was sent saying that the order is on the way. I’ve been trying to contact Tuffnells, and of course nobody was answering.This company is a joke

The company has been taken over by the shift group ltd, the owner has only one intention to rip of staff and customers, drivers currently owed thousands and the shift group refuse to respond, if the staff have to take them to court what chance do the customers have, any thing it touches turns bad avoid like the plague

DO NOT USE!!!

You will not believe how incompetent they are. Support staff are unhelpful and unapologetic. You will have to make all the running to solve their problems.

Four failed deliveries and a fifth driver arriving to pick up the package we were waiting to be delivered.

The package, a £1500 bike, completely lost despite saying it had been delivered. They didn’t know where but signed with a big cross and no name or picture.

Would give 0 stars if I could.

Do Not Use!!!

DO NOT USE!!! Worst delivery company I have come across. I thought Evri was bad. I have only ever used Tuffnells twice and both times I had horrible experiences. First time the driver dropped a huge King size mattress outside my building, I live in an apartment block and he was refusing to bring it in. I got him to bring it into our reception area and he stormed off. It was too heavy to get it in my lift and upto my flat so had to get help. When took the plastic wrapping off I noticed loads of damage from the mattress being dragged along the ground. Second time they didn't even ring my buzzer, no one delivered anything and the ebay seller said Tuffnell claims it was delivered. I tried to get more info but Tuffnells have just completely ignored me and not even attempted to look into the issue. I am out £190!

Total Disgrace Of A Company Dont Use

This company has lost my brand new ebike which cost 2800 pounds.

They picked it up told me it got to a depot then they lost it did a search found nothing a friend of mine who works for them found it again in a totally different place , they then said they'd tried to deliver it but didn't then said it was on way back to me NOW lost AGAIN.

PLEASE PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

Ridiculously Poor!

My husband and I waited in for two allday delivery slots and were let down both times. On the first failed attempt, their excuse was that we had refused to sign for the article, which was a mislead. On top of which, there is no tracking for the customer or the companies they service.

Stupity Beyond Belief...

So I've just pulled up at Sainsbury's car park and the phone rings so I answer and the voice on the other end says " I have delivery for you,you come down now ". I'm not expecting a delivery until tomorrow and I've not had any notifications to say it's coming a day early, I checked in the morning, no tracking info just saying it's despatched, so I was a bit confused, racking my brains trying to think if I had another delivery coming.I explained to him that I was out but if he rang the buzzer my GF would let him in .He couldn't see the correct flat number in front of him so he was obviously at the wrong building.I explained to him that he's probably at the wrong location and that he probably needs to go around the back of the main block but he just kept saying "you come down now " in a very aggressive fashion. After I've established that he's at the wrong place and he's not prepared to attempt to deliver it to the right place and I've told him for the 3rd or 4th time that I'm not at home and yet he's still demanding I come downstairs I finally snapped and said "Look you f'ing idiot ,how can I come downstairs when I'm not at home? He swore back at me and said "you won't get your f'ing delivery" Sometime later I got a phone call which was so quiet the only words I could distinctly hear were " Festus " and "Tuffnells"and an inaudible phone number...I worked out that this was probably a call to attempt to re-deliver my package. Festus is probably a lovely guy but he needs to speak up a bit ! As for his colleague, I would suggest to Tuffnells that if they can't recruit people capable of getting to the right property,or being capable of understanding that they're at the wrong property when they are being told so and all the evidence suggests this, and are not prepared to attempt to go to the right place yet still expect the customer to come downstairs to collect a delivery that they didn't know was coming when they are a mile away at the shops then it's probably time to give up !

Parcel Classed As "lost"

DO NOT USE. Collected my parcel, tracked it as delivered but it wasn't. Then said it was lost. No proof of delivery, no proof of signature even though this was required. How was it delivered and lost? Police have been informed.

They lost a four piece sofa set, how you can loose an item that large I don’t know! I contacted them directly and it took 5 days to get a response, their response was that they wouldn’t investigate or discuss with me as I was the receiver and not the sender. Tracking states that the item couldn’t be delivered for “other reasons” at 5pm (delivery was never attempted), then at 7am the following morning the barcode was scanned back in to the depot where it subsequently vanished into thin air. Read into that what you will, perhaps it fell off the back of a lorry (?)

Tuffnells “how Did We Do”

Ordered a set of ladders with next day delivery on 20.04.22, at 06.18 next morning received an email to say out for delivery. At 10am I looked on Tuffnells website to track my delivery but just said out for delivery and live tracking was not working, it states you can get an ETA from your local branch, I then tried the branch locator but this takes to a page that states “you are not authorised to access this page” so totally useless. I sent Tuffnells 2 messages via there website and no response and no delivery, but at 18.30 when I look on there website it now states delivered.

Next morning I phoned Tuffnells customer service as I had no response to my previous messages to ask where was my delivery as it was not delivered to me I was told they could not access that information and could not help me in any way as they will only talk to the account holder (I did check I was talking to customer service) and for any information I should talk to the sender.

I phoned the sender who in turn phoned Tuffnells, the sender phoned me back within 10 minutes to tell me There was no signature and Tuffnells could not reach the Brierley Hill depot so no help there, however the supplier was apologetic and would dispatch another set of ladders with a next day before 12 noon delivery with carrier company DX

Would you believe it, I have just received a marketing email from Tuffnells to ask “How did we do” and asking me to do a review, well this is it.

So now it is Saturday 23.04.22 DX arrived at 8.55 this morning, the driver was great no problems, no dents, no damage.

Forget before 12 noon this is before 9am Brilliant!!

Do Not Ise This Courier

DO NOT USE THIS COURIER!!!

Waited in all day for my underlay to come cancelled all plans I needed to do and never turned up and my parcel has not arrived!! I was checking the tracking every half hour and just kept saying out for delivery then went on the tracking to track my parcel at 8pm and now it’s saying it’s been delivered! I haven’t received anything so your drivers are lying! I’m now having to sleep on the sofa with my 2 year old daughter because I couldn’t put my carpets down as you failed to deliver my parcel and now claiming you have delivered it when nothing has arrived! No live tracking to tell you where your parcel is or what time it would come and can’t contact anyone as they don’t answer your emails! Absolutely disgusting service! I’ve tried emailing 6 TIMES to see why they have lied about delivering my parcel and to see where it is and when it going to be delivered and they are useless don’t even get back in touch with their customers absolutely shocking service will never use tuffnells again!!

I work a four hour shift at Tuffnells in the warehouse and I'm not to sure if I'm entitled to a 10 minute break. Am I allowed a 10 minute break?
