This company was recommended to me by four people so I thought I was safe.

They installed new windows and doors and I was pleased with the results although I did question the slight draughts I could feel but decided it was my imagination so I asked them to remove the bay window and install patio doors and then my troubles began.

When it was completed and checked I noticed that above the doors was bowed instead of straight and there was a major draught so I asked them to reinstall the doors.

It was the same men so I asked them why they had left the doors like that knowing they weren't right. No reply. They reinstalled said doors and you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife but this time the draught was coming from the bottom not the top.I also noticed on checking that they had failed to put filler between the doors and the brickwork on the outside so it was open to the elements. By now I'd lost the will to live and did it myself.

A while later I discovered that there should have been planning permission, I didn't know and they didn't say and I should have received a certificate and the work checked by the Council.

Each winter now I freeze to death as draughts emanate from everywhere.

Avoid at all costs.
