Placed order online on 17th, despatched on 18th. Promised to be delivered before Christmas,still not delivered on 30th. Don't think it will arrive before new year.

Tried To Get A Price For New New 2021 Release Of Nowhere To
So tried to get a price for new release of nowhere to run Jean claude van damn yet tried to fob me off with price if the old version, the new 1 has art cards and poster the old 1 has disc only yet slyly trying to class as same film but yet they selling cyborg for 18 and double team for 15 released by the same people, it has nothing to do with stock or anything it is a completely new release same as cyborg and double team, car dealership selling same car 1 with extras 1 without but you want the extras do you expect to pay the same no, also if classing same version youse going to change all different versions of marvel steelbooks to same price no i dont think so point proven be warned if wanting a price for a new release of a dvd people but theres a older version on site also trued getting a price for jaws revenge steelbook which cost more than regular version yet tried fobbing me off as regular version which worth nothing steelbook are highly collectable what if someone specifically was searching for that on site but couldn't find it and they went elsewhere youde ha e lost a sale
Wish I Knew About Them Sooner
Both a refurbished B grade iPhone XS_max online as I got more variety of phones than going to an individual branch. It did not come with the original box or apple charger but the packet was exceedingly well packet and the phone looked ABSOLUTELY PRISTINE. Battery performance was 91% which is fine for my needs. How I wish I had known about them before spending a huge sum of money for another new iPhone. My friends use the store v often as with kids they have stuff to exchange and get products even cheaper. The phone was unlocked and I got a 24/month warranty too. Will use them again in future
Cex Clinic Incompetent And Time Wasting
I never shop at CeX due to how overpriced everything is, but the Clinic for console repairs seemed like it could be a great service, until I actually used it of course
After finding them through their website, and everything looking like what I needed, I went in store where I was told they weren't actually running the Clinic service whatsoever, even after emailing them before going! I had to email them to get them to put up a banner on their website to actually tell people they aren't operating, and so I would know when they were open again
When they finally opened, weeks later, I took my device in. I explained exactly what the problem was and the repair I needed doing, filled out their forms and gave them my console
They started working on my device days later than claimed due to nobody at the store sending it for a while if the tracking information is to be believed. A few hours later, they messaged to say they couldn't repair it and they're sending it back to the store. Which was infuriating. I had told them exactly what the issue is and yet only later they decided to say "we don't fix that issue", something they could have even told me weeks before and not wasted my time, but, it gets even worse...
It turns out they opened the device, breaking the manufacturers seal and replaced a completely irrelevant part that was working, which, due to the nature of it, now cannot be tested because my device is still broken. Them doing this needlessly has limited my warranty for a repair with other companies due to general policy, but, it gets even worse...
After receiving a message that my console was in store, I went in to collect it. Not sure why I expected more from them, but their incompetence shone through and they couldn't find my console. It wasn't there. So, after contacting support again they located the console and only due to me asking, agreed to courier it back to me instead of requiring a fourth trip to their store, 25 minutes away from me. I would assume this free courier back was an attempt to take some responsibility for their incompetence
I cannot recommend them for their store prices, and unfortunately can only recommend staying away from their Clinic repair service due to the risk of wasting your time and energy trying to deal with them. Just awful
I Returned A Faulty Laptop I Bought Online From Ce
I returned a faulty laptop i bought online from cex, for £250. i waited over a week for them to test it and then they said that it doesnt match the serial number of the one they sent me. Show me evidence of this as i took photos of the laptop. what a despicable way to treat customers. i will never buy or sell to them ever again
Wasn’t Properly Fixed
Sent it in through CeX, I waited 3 weeks for it to be repaired, the RB button broke and headphone jack. Once I got it back I played JC4 with it for 30minutes, in which the RB button refused to function and the headphone jack wouldn’t work at all. Very Disappointed.
Shame On You Dunfermline Branch
I cannot give a zero star , hence the one to make this work
I bought a Kindle Keyboard online in July 2017 (after sitting on my first one on holiday and the screen cracked even though it had a stout leather cover ) . It was in A class condition but one of the page forward buttons was a bit stiff , But this did not affect its normal use , and as it was of course used goods but I kept it anyway and it performed perfectly until early November 2018 . I charged it as usual one morning , but when I came to use it at bedtime that evening I noticed that the bottom 12mm of the screen was blank or had fragmented lines on it . Then when I tried to switch it on nothing happened and of course I couldn,t get it to reboot . End of Kindle until I remembered the 2 year guarantee.
reading up on returns procedure online I went to our local branch in DUNFERMLINE explained how & what had happened and I wanted a refund under Cex,s guarantee . I took it out the box and showed him the invoice , whereupon he said " Oh you have bought it online" He fumbled about with it then shot off into a huddle with several members of staff . He came back pointing out the stiffish forward button and said that this had been caused by the Kindle being dropped ( my immediate thought was it must have been an impossible angle of drop to do that ) , and that they didn,t do screen repairs and to try another shop to get a repair done .I told him it had not been dropped and what about the kindle not switching on and the hazing on the screen whereupon he said they ( Cex ) were not responsible for damage caused by customers and just stood there looking at me
At no time was I treated like a customer with a genuine complaint more like I had broken the item myself I was now trying to convince them into giving me my money back and an inconvenience to their day , staff very arrogant and offhand . I also felt angry and humiliated to be classed as a liar. Fortunately the shop was empty.
THERE IS GOOD NEWS AND COMMON SENSE THOUGH AS WHEN I GOT HOME I SEARCHED AND GOT A CEX FREEPOST RETURNS LABLE AND POSTED IT BACK THE SAME DAY
SIX DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A REPLACEMENT KINDLE KEYBOARD -JUST AS IT SHOULD BE !

Avoid At All Costs
Bought a second hand phone from the Salisbury store and after a few days realised it wasn't working fully. Several elements were faulty. When I returned and offered to exchange it for a more expensive phone I was told no. I put it through a warranty test and they said it was fine. When I asked what had been tested, none of the things I complained about had been included. After my fourth visit into store and the worst customer service I've ever received (literal shrugging from the store manager while the rest of the staff stood around like sulky teenagers) I was told to go and complain online as they didn't want to deal with it. I shouldn't have bothered. After nearly three weeks back and fourth with their customer service line, I got nowhere. I even reminded them that not offering a refund for a faulty item in the first thirty days is illegal -didn't care. Read any reviews for this company online and you'll find the same experience over and over. Awful.
Scratched Disk
Scratched disk game not working when I open disk I could clearly see scratch so disk could not have been checked by store staff
Offerd £2.86 For 60 Dvds.
So I went to cex in barnet en5.with 60 dvds that I wanted to sell waited 30 mins for the staff to check all dvds and put them into plastic covers out of the box. At the end of the 30mins wait he said that I would get £2.86 for 60 dvds that was in good condition. So at least 90% they was giving me 1p per dvd. Would not recommend selling anything to them.how can they offer 1p a dvd and probably sell each for £2.50.
