Da Lucio Is The Friendly Local Italian Restaurant
Da Lucio is the friendly local Italian restaurant at the bottom of my road in Subiton. I consider myself something of a pizza officinardo and I am happy to say that the Pizza's here are easily among the best I have every had. The are cooked in the traditional oven so the bases are thin and crisp and the choice of toppings are varied enough that everyone will find something that they would love. My favourite is the Quattro Staggoni which has salami, artichokes, mushrooms and olives but I have tried serveral others and they are all de-lic-i-ous!
They also have a wide variety of other stuff on the menu. I have tried the bolognese which really was amazing. I'm not entirely sure how they manage to get the depth of flavour in their tomato sauces. There is also lots of fish and meat dishes.
The staff are friendly and there is take away option. Highly recommend
