No Show Delivery

Ordered 3.4.22 with delivery for 12.5.22. No show so phoned and told they had accidentally cancelled order and now delivery 24.7.22! Phoned today and told it was now 1.8.22!! Scandalous service, avoid

Terrible Customer Service

Placed an order on the 29th May 20, and delivery was made on the 9th July 20 as agreed. However some items were damaged and the colour of the cushions completely wrong. A list of the issues are below whcih were emailed to them on the day of delivery after speaking with a person in customer services.

-All the cushion are white with black trimming.

-The glass top for one of the coffee tables/bed is shattered.

-The suction to place the glass on the other coffee table/bed is not working.

Cambridge 8 Rattan Garden Chair and Rectangle Dining Table Set in Black & Vanilla - SET-CAM-022

-The rattan weave on the top of the table is loose and damaged.

As expected I am having to chase them everyday for a response and as previous comments there is either an issue with the systems or someone is blaming another department.

It has been a week since our delivery, and to date no one seems to want to take responsibility to resolve any issues.

I will probably need to speak to my credit card company as we have not received the goods we ordered.

Update 28 October 2020

I was sent a replacement table, which was also damaged, and then sent a grey table when my order clearly states 'Black'. All of this after I have been told that they have no table in stock at the moment. If I not notified them, they would have not even known the tables were delivered.

The replacement cushions were received, however, they were not the colour that I had ordered.

I have now 5 large boxes in my front living for the past 4 weeks, and despite me asking numerous times for a collection to be arranged they are still here. Apparently they are going to be collected on Friday.

I have been advised that I will have replacements sent to me end of November, 7 months after my original order. However, probably best not to trust anything that comes out of this company, as nothing they say actually happens.

Please take my advise, I stay away from this company. They simply do not care about their customers and fob you off. There are so many options available for rattan furniture, I only wished I had chosen another company when ordering mine.

Terrible Product & Shocking Response

I bought a 9 pice set in 2015. Removed cover this summer to find table is disintegrating. After writing to customer service with photo's showing the extent of degradation, the response was simply 'sorry it has not fared well' when I asked for a replacement i was told it was out of warranty. The website and the paperwork clearly indicate a 5 year structural guarantee which I wrote back about. I have not heard back despite posting my email on a number of occassions. Their reaction implies it's no surprise to them and that they don't give a damn. I hvae never written a revierw before but this seems the only thing I can do now. Avoid at all costs

very unprofessional...it seems like you cant complete an order at once - everything needs chasing an phone calls.

Delivery of the goods is managed by another company Panther who are absolutely useless apart from bombarding you with hundreds of messages and emails about delivery have no clue what they are doing or what they are delivering.

items arrive with need to assemble, umbrellas with no bases to hold, patio heater was a Lego made up with hundreds of details, with no gas recommendation to make it complete and work...overall what a struggle it has been to order from this company. the table set is okey but nothing premium, Amazon sells the same for half the price.

Only Good At Taking Your Money, Nothing Else.

Good and easy ordering on Web site. That's it. Downhill from there. Speedy delivery of faulty goods. Failed collection of faulty goods due to my unprofessional bad packaging! Then delivery of a replacement but also faulty good. Then third delivery was only a collection. No replacement been ordered. Now wait some more. So after wasting 3 of my working days still no descent product!

Poor quality.

Spent around £1200 on furniture and a heater...... what a massive mistake!!!

I contacted rattandirect as I had a broken connector tube from one of their heaters. The reply from rattandirect was "we don’t supply/replace the tubes unless you buy another heater. You may purchase the tube online or from the manufacturer." I sent a further 3 emails asking for the name of the manufacturer or a solution. Eventually rattandirect replied that they have requested tubes from their supplier. They then sent another email saying they couldn't get the parts. I sent an email asking if they could or couldn't. Rattandirect replied "The one from customer service is correct, but there will be a wait whilst we ship the part from our suppliers. We will contact you in due course to advise we have the part in our warehouse." I left it for a while then sent more emails asking if the parts had arrived yet. Eventually I got a reply from rattandirect saying the parts were never ordered and can't be supplied. I sent another email asking for the manufacturer's name. They told me their supplier is based in China but refused to give me their name. Great I'm now left with a useless heater I have never used and £299 out of pocket!!!!!

Waste Of 3 Months

Purchased a table from them. I was initially contacted and asked to wait 6 weeks. Then after a couple of months they wrote to say that something went wrong and they don't have the table and I would need to wait longer or have the option of refund. Their customer service then ignored all my emails until I got through by phone and was told that I had already been refunded a month before.

Still Waiting For Delivery

I ordered furniture, had to chase order on several occasions, was given a date for delivery and took a days holiday, I am self employed so I lost a days earnings, waited in all day and furniture did not arrive. Rang following morning, was told out of stock and I should have been updated, I wasn't, person on other end of line she was very polite and apologised. Was told delivery would be after Easter, when after Easter - who knows. I wanted the furniture for Easter as I have family staying. I was going to cancel but will give it to just after Easter and if no joy I will cancel. I am going to investigate further as stating products in stock and then not is very misleading. If you are going to purchase from this company beware.

Shockingly Bad Service, False Claims On Website.

I placed an order on the 2nd April 2017. The set I ordered was advertised on the website under a banner stating “3 day delivery” so I went ahead and ordered it hoping for the furniture to arrive last weekend. By Wednesday I had not heard anything from Rattan Direct, so I called customer services and spoke to a guy who assured me that my delivery had gone through perfectly on a finance application and told me that my delivery was scheduled for Monday (today 10th April). He also told me I should expect to receive a text message on Sunday (9th) with a delivery timeslot- I did not receive this.

As I was assured the delivery was scheduled for today, I have taken today off of work to receive the order. As I hadn’t heard from the company regarding a timeslot I called at 9am when the office opened and spoke to somebody who informed me my delivery will not be made today the items I ordered are not in stock. Why didn't the guy I spoke to on Wednesday know this??

I have since received a generic email CANCELLING my order so I can “source from elsewhere”, I specifically asked for this not to happen.

I am at a loss now, not only because I took the day off work to receive my order when promised, but also in the longer term as I have incurred a mark on my credit file which will affect my ability to source the product from elsewhere.

The website stated availability within 3 days. I have been informed my order was cancelled as availability is now 4-6 weeks. (THE COMPANY ARE STILL ADVERTISING THE SET I ORDERED WITH THE BANNER- “ORDER ME NOW, DELIVERY IN THREE WEEKS”!!!) so how many more customers will they dupe into ordering in this way??

This customer service is unacceptable. The company make false claims on their website and simply blame the manufacturer when they let you down.

Amazing Products And Service

Having read all the bad reviews I just had to write to support this company. I have taken delivery of a large order that was delivered within 3 days of placing my order. The communication could not have been better and my delivery came within a 2 hour time slot text to me the night before. We have had a small problem and my call to customer service was answered immediately and within 30 minutes I have an email and text advising a replacement part will be delivered tomorrow. Really cannot praise the company highly enough. Customer service was just brilliant. Ps the products are very high qualitu
