Purchased a Cisco Smartnet Contract on 21/08/14 Cisco Smartnet takes at most 5 days to set up, I have been in contact with Accounts and Customer Service regularly, to at every time be told wait till the end of the day, which I have done on every occasion.

03/09/14 early hours of the morning e-mailed Accounts once more to query the status of the contract or get a refund, response at 08:59 was, here's the contract attached, I tried to use the contract number sent to me on Cisco to associate it with my account, by 11AM I have Cisco telling me the contract is someone else's and the are considering severing all my contracts on suspect of fraud, looking at the contract number shows it is indeed someone else's DE BEERS DIAMOND JEWELLERS LTD and They and Cisco are furious because I am trying to use their Contract ID to download software.

A call off Broadband Buyer Customer Services on 04/09/14 said it is Azlan's and Cisco's fault but will be rectified by close of business, well it still hasn't and I am without the use of my Cisco Integrated Services Router 887 because without the software upgrade I can not install it properly.

Take my advice, read the reviews, physical stock is fine, and I have had stock off them but contracts steer clear, cheap contract prices mean cheap service and their promises are as permanent as a fart in a wind machine!

This company are very slow to respond to faulty stock.

Takes weeks.

When stock returned that is faulty they claim otherwise to try to avoid paying for return postage and probably resell.

I wanted to buy Router in this site. Have ordered (Order 532296), they charged my credit card in 10 GBP. After it I got the letter from broadbandbuyer that the payment is possible only via bank. Took credit card data and don't want sell.

Wonder if their pre-sales people actually want to sell. Never answered any of my emails fully, they just cut and paste you with links with what they think you should have, and not what you want. When I pointed out that a particular bundle they quoted me on was more expensive than buying the individual items, the pricing on the individual items suddenly increased on their website, then their pre-sales tried to infer that the problem was at my end (perhaps you didn't clear your cache was one lame excuse). Trying to make your customer look like a mug is not the best selling technique I've ever come across!

Had been using this company for a number of years, but will now shop elsewhere. Lambdatek incidentally were 30% cheaper.

I bought the Billion BiPAC P106 Pocket-Sized HomePlug AV 200 Ethernet Adapters Kit together with other Billion HomePlug units from Broadbandbuyer to set up a very easy wired/wireless network which works fantastically well!

My shopping experience with this company has been first rate with the usual order Emails, notification of dispatch Email (I wish this would be compulsory when shopping on the Internet) being sent out together with a fast delivery.

Goods are categorised on their website which makes it easy to see the goods that you're after. There's also a forum page too so help is just a question away.

I recommend this company & I will shop with them again for further purchases of broadband/network equipment.
