Bought an Asus laptop with 3 year optional warranty. Laptop died completely after 1yr 9 months, and returned for repair - double boxed. Warranty included a return label so no charge for the return. After 6 weeks I contacted the customer service and they said a repair was impossible due to unavailable parts. I think the motherboard had died.

I got a full store credit, for the original price including the cost of the warranty, and I chose another two non-Asus products from box.co.uk. We are very satisfied with the replacement products which are a cheaper laptop, and a large USB pen flash drive.

Customer service were very helpful with the whole process of selecting the alternate products, arranging payment of the small extra cost, and speedy delivery of the new products.

After many years faithful service my macbook decided to pack up. I couldnt afford a new mac with equivalent specs and so found the Asus N551JX at a great price and a 3 year warranty for only 899.

Simply asus were quick to deliver the laptop and for a while all went well. I hate windows 8.1 with a passion and have had numerous problems in the past, so I decided to install Windows 10 Education. I was able to get the drivers from Asus and the isntall went well. After a while i noticed that the machine crashed when entering sleep. I spent 3 weeks with Asus technical support and rolled back to windows 8.1 to no avail.

I arranged a return to Simply Asus and packaged the laptop in it's original box and put this inside another along with copies of my conversations with Asus support. Royal mail charged an arm and a leg but better safe than sorry.

I must be honest here and say that I did select the wrong return reason, and that there was a small scratch on the machine.

Simply Asus emailed me that they could not accept the return due to the scratch, ok perhaps they havent read the documents or the return request details explaining the faults.

I emailed to explain that the docs i sent should explain the faults and attempts at fixing it.

Simply Asus said they received no docs and that they couldnt find a fault at all.

I stupdily accepted the laptop back and contacted Asus who offered to collect the laptop at their cost and send it to Scotland for examination and repair.

Asus did find a fault funnily enough and replaced the entire motherboard. I informed Simply Asus of all this and my costs to post it the laptop to them in the first place and I have never received a reply or an apology.

I will never ever buy another machine from these charletans and will not recommend them to anyone. They ignored my consumer rights and should be called Simply Appalling.

Avoid like the plague.

Bought a laptop on Sunday at a very good pr5ice and received it on Tuesday. Excellent service and very good communication. It is a very good laptop and my friend is thinking about ordering one as it has a very high specs with large memory and SSD and standard drive.

First time I have dealt with this company and received very good service from them from ordering to getting laptop was 3 days,have only looked at it to check all OK it was well packaged so no problems.Would recommend them to anybody.Thankyou Simply Asus.

I like the spec on this laptop a little more expensive than I wanted but hopefully will be money well spent time will tell.

Ordered at 3pm and delivered next day. Excellent service. The company is very competitively priced and I would use again.

The N551VW is a well specced laptop, but not without some drawbacks.

I like: Speed, it is fast. SSD and normal disk drive. USB ports including one powered.

I dislike: The trackpad takes some getting used to and often picks up unintended gestures. The Screen only goes back to about 120 degrees. It is quite heavy and can get uncomfortable on the lap. When the screen is tilted back it protrudes from the base leaving an edge to dig into your legs, not good considering the weight. No backlit keyboard. Spent a lot of time adjusting the screen but still cannot get a good colour saturation or contrast.

All in all, I would not recommend this system and wished I had gone for one of the Lenovo 2 in 1's. But if you are in the market for an ASUS laptop, I would recommend this company.

I happened upon the site after doing a Google search for a particular laptop. SimplyAsus had one of the best prices but it was the customer rating that persuaded me. I haven't been disappointed. I needed help with setting up my account after making an error I couldn't fix. My phone call was answered promptly and the problem fixed in seconds. My laptop arrived less than 24 hours after I'd ordered and I'm delighted with it. I'll definitely be back.

I purchased a laptop online and all documentation went through rapidly, i selected next day delivery but as i ordered on a friday i knew it would not arrive until monday, however come monday dpd text me to say arriving between 10 and 11 am, come midday another text saying it would arrive 16-1700, then 1730 a text to say they couldnt deliver because i wasnt in, Total courier lies even the photo proff of placing tried to deliver card was not related to my building, had a go at dpd they said the mysteriously could not contact the driver or the chelmsford depot, so would i accept an "upgrade" to have my parcel delivered the next day before 12,, and that the upgrade was a gesture of goodwill...in my eyes an upgrade is delivering before the schedulled time and not after. however it was delivered before noon and asus refunded my next day delivery charge,, I have no problem with asus or the product but their image is being marred by DPD.. sonif you buy fro asus specify any courier other than DPD they are awful.

Most helpful for pre-sales enquiries regarding the laptop Tha I was interested in. Great service, ease of purchase and everything followed through as promised. Kept well informed Throughout. Happy to deal with again.

Do not buy from this company they mislead you with there advertising they say product is 1 thing but what you get in reality is another there customer services is very poor I phoned to complain and all I get is a obnoxious person who is of no help whatsoever do not recommend this company to anybody all I want is a full refund of my money go to 1 of the big high street names you will get far better service and better value 4 money do not fall into the same trap I did
