Fantastic Fridge Freezer!
I purchased a Next 'Retro' Fridgefreezer in 2013 and it's still going strong - 11 years on. Yes, I left it late to leave a review but I like to make sure appliances work properly!
This has been the best fridge freezer I have ever owned. It was delivered quickly and efficiently (no moans from the delivery driver even though I was up 14 steep steps) and has been working efficiently since Day 1. Great storage capacity, easy to clean and defrost. It looks fabulous too. It has even survived a house move to France since I bought it.I am over the moon with my purchase. Highly recommended. Fingers crossed it goes on for another 11 years at least!

Okay Until Something Is Wrong!!
Bought a smeg fridge freezer worth 1500 pounds lasted only three years and had an internal gas leak! Nothing to do with my self. May seem like a small niggle but domestic appliance trying to make out if had the product 4 years... when in fact I had had it 3 years and 2 months when they product stopped working and it been 9 weeks since I started my compliant with them and they’ve been appalling!!!!!!! Not only did they not want to acknowledge that they had a right to deal with this, they tried to keep sending me back to the manufacturer and not hold responsibility. When finally after hours on the phone I sent all my details and a engineer report to them. They offers me 630 pounds back for product that lasted just over three years!
They had very little customer care skills, didn’t want to attempt to help me. They just gave me this amount as a final offer immediately and told me to like it or lump it basically.
Eventually after taking it further with retail adr and set a claim I get a phone call saying they want to resolve the issue. Well when they say resolve what they meant was they were offering me any more or making it more accessible to have the product I paid good money for and expected to last. What they meant with resolve was to tell me I’d be getting a bette offer from smeg who in fairness have been great and to replace the fridge from them at a cost of 800 quid and not take my refund from them as if I accept their refund I’m not entitled to the deal from smeg as both require the fridge back! Lose lose situation for me. Absolutely shocking company for customer values, all said with a smile on their face. Like a lot of companies fine until you have an issue then they don’t care about you, your custom or how much you’ve spent with them.

Frustrating
After being delivered a faulty appliance last week, I have spent the last 3 days trying to arrange an uplift and replacement. This process has been full of numerous frustrating phone calls that have lasted up to 50 mins each, bring passed around several depts and next not doing what they say they’re going to do. After paying for a speedy delivery due to need I am a week on and still do not have a working appliance.
This certainly isn't the journey or impression we want our customers to have of the service we offer at all. My sincere apologies for any frustration this may have caused.
Rest assured, I'll be passing your feedback on to the Quality Team so that they can investigate this internally. My apologies again for any inconvenience this experience may have caused.

Thank you for your reply however I do feel you are missing the level of frustration caused. I soaked the number derailed on the invoice which stated to call with any issues. Firstly it was nightmare actually getting to speak to a person, secondly I was passed to at least 3 depts each time I called before I was speaking to the correct dept. I had no clue by this time who I was talking to, however I do know that this certainly wasn’t an easy process and staff certainly did not do as they stated. To get the replacement confirmed it took 3 days of calls and 2 days off work!! The process should be made less stressful or better still do not deliver faulty products

Great service, unfortunately the first tumble dryer I bought was damaged (not the packaging so must have been damaged by manufacturer) phoned next and they sorted it straight away, apologised and arranged for another one to be sent out the next day. Pleased it was dealt with promptly.

Offered A Delivery & Set Up Option
I found the website easy to use, I was very pleased to find a delivery & setup option. This will be great help when the product arrives as it was something that I was concerned about as I have just come out of hospital.
It was good to get a phone call checking & confirming the delivery details, but this turned into a sales call to sell aftercare product payment plan which I did not purchase

I'm sure you found our delivery service equally as good. We aim to keep our customers in the loop as best we can by sending a text message on the day of your delivery which contains a 4 hour estimated time of arrival.
However, I'm sorry to read that you're unhappy with the call you received regarding the Protection Plan that we offer. This isn't the impression we want our customers to be left with at all. The Plan offers additional peace of mind when buying an appliance and protects you for more than a standard manufacturer warranty. We understand that the Plan isn't for everyone and the decision to take it up is completely optional. I'll ensure your comments regarding the Plan and the manner in which it came across are passed on to our Quality Team as we're always looking to improve the service we offer.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Next now do Domestic Appliances. I was looking for a new washing machine as my 18 year old Electrolux finally gave up the ghost but the timing was not too good so I was delighted to discover that Next had the machine I was looking for and I could put it on my Next account, enabling me to spread the cost. Also the cost of my preferred machine was the cheapest available - bonus!! It's good that I can get the machine installed and tested - even though it's an extra cost. That's standard though. It gives me peace of mind to know that it's been installed properly and tested. That was if there's a problem I know - and Next knows - it's not my fault.
So, all in all I'm very happy!

I purchased a fridge freezer from Next Domestic Appliances and have been very impressed with the service received.
I ordered on Sunday morning and within an hour I had recieved a courtesy call to confirm my order and to advise of the delivery process. As I am in Northern Ireland, I was advised that Bond Delivery would be delivering my item and they would contact me within 48hrs. Sure enough, I received a friendly call on Tuesday to advise me that my order is in transit and would be delivered between 9am and 12noon the next day.
My item arrived at 11am this morning in perfect condition, delivered by two pleasant delivery men who took it straight into my kitchen.
And at £19.99 for NI delivery I was very pleased as some websites where quoting £39.99 and even £49.99 for delivery!
I would highly recommend Next Domestic Appliances. They offered the best possible price, displayed accurate stock info, had impeccible customer service skills and kept me updated and informed throughout the process. Thank you!

Delivery Costs Are High!
Next appliances aren't transparent with their conditions of delivery.
Use the Next credit option and you get told where they'll deliver your appliance.
No option to deliver using an alternative address.
Customer service gave me the wrong advice to put an order through. This could have cost me bank charges for being overdrawn if I wasn't paying attention.

When choosing to pay with your Next Account, we can only deliver to the address where your account is registered to. You can pay via a debit/credit card should you wish to have the appliance delivered to a different address.

Misleading
I wanted a specific dishwasher for a specific day. The website brings up a calendar of delivery dates and says you can select this at checkout. However, at checkout there is no information about delivery dates. I thought it might occur after purchase. So I continued until I got a confirmation email that had no delivery information NOR any instructions on what to do which the confirmation notice on the website said the email would inform me on what to do next. So I had to call customer services only to be told that the item is not in stock! The gentleman said that it does not let you select a delivery date if there is no product in stock but I did not see any notice of this anywhere when trying to purchase. Now I have to cancel it. This is most annoying and not a good way of conducting business.

It sounds like the appliance you were trying to purchase had only just gone out of stock. Otherwise it wouldn't have shown on the website and you wouldn't have been unable to select it.
