Horrible Worst Coloring Product Ever

I just used John Frieda foam in color .. OMG ! WORST product ever! I have thin but otherwise very healthy hair ,,, after rinsing the product and applying the CHEAP conditioner .. I could not get a comb thru my hair .. it feels HORRIBLE , dry brittle breaking off in clumps. I used 2 different conditioning products to TRY to undo some of the damage . Finally ended up sending my husband out to a salon to buy an expensove spray on detangler so I could comb thru it. This product is AWFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hair feels and looks horrible

Impractical

I've been colouring my own hair for years. The foam gets everywhere and in warm weather it doesn't stay foamy but forms a trickle.

Rubbish

Went for dark brown v similar to my original hair colour. Just was looking for a colour to cover the few grey I have and where the sun has lightened the ends slightly. Found the colour really didn't do anything- didn't cover the grey despite leaving it that bit longer as it instructed. Colour and ends just looked much dryer afterwards.

Really wouldn't recommend it.

Absolutely Dreadful

Well used to doing my hair myself, tried this because of the foam. RUBBISH! My hair is completely different from the box colour - went from strawberry blonde to dark brown - awful!

Wont be buying anything by JOHN FRIEDA again - no satifaction or explanation from them as to what went wrong. I went by the book, well experienced in doing my own colour. Appalled, John Frieda, appalled!

Terrible

It was awful!! I wanted to dye my hair a lighter blonde and it only got my roots and barely nothing else!! It even didn't change my hair color!! It was my first and my last time using this crap!! One pro out of it I got it for free! Good thing I didn't waste $10 on this junk!! I put the whole bottle on like it recommended and did everything the directions said to do! Very disappointed with this! I hope this guy reads all of these reviews!! It's just TERRIBLE!!!!!! I knew I should've read these reviews.

Worst Color Ever!

I used the dark chocolate brown. Despite claims that it provides long-lasting grey coverage, the color didn't even last a week! Washed out after 2 shampoos. Won't EVER purchase Frieda color again!

John Frieda Precision Foam Dark Natural Blonde

I had medium blonde hair before i started that wasn't bad but it needed a boost, i had been using garnier Nutrisse and thought i would check out the John Frieda Foam dye as its meant to be a salon formula.

Well the application was easy and the foam is good it does not go everywhere and is not as messy as some.

The colour, is nothing WOW! it is an ordinary light/medium moussy gingery brown, nothing glossy about it at all.

I would NOT recommend at all, Garnier Nutrisse colours are much better.

All hype and no substance !!

I have spend £10.00 on the dye and another £14.00 for two boxes of Lightest ash blond to get away from the boring colour I had, so all in all i've spent £24.00 and with all my time and effort I guess much more, then there is the condition of my hair with re-dying twice after the foam, now Conditioner applications to get back my condition, I cannot take the risk again with this foam hair colour.

Very Disappointed.

The Box Lies.

Naturally i have medium brown hair. I bought the 'dark cool pearl blonde' dye expecting to go a dark blonde, as one would expect so if it says on the box. My hair is now significantly darker than before.

Particularly annoyed and disappointed, id like to go lighter as i intended, but I'm afraid if i dye it again using a different colour and brand this vile chemical I've just put in my hair will make it go green or something.

Definitely don't recommend it if you want to get what you asked for...

Um what you don't realise is if you have medium brown hair or darker you must pre bleach your hair before using dye ok. John Freda is the best ever better than any other salon or store colour

berooklyn13

obviously if you have dark brown hair and put a blonde over it, its not going to come up nicely first go. You need to tone it afterwards. Also doing this yourself if you're not experienced as you seem you are not do not try and do it with products from the supermarket and expect salon results.

Grey Not Blonde

Use a light natural blond colour in summer but wanted a slightly darker shade The colour looks dark grey, absolutely not what I wanted. Siad medium natural blond on box. Tried to phone the help line but constantly engaged. Makes you wonder if it is all complaints!

Light? No Way!

Bought this in Light Ash Blonde with intention of getting a light to medium blonde. Natural colour and previous haircolour were a medium blonde. This so-called "light" shade ended up as a dark blonde, if not light brown!! Not at all what I was wanting! Off to the salon for a colour correction, so a $14 box of hair colour is now costing $140. NOT AT ALL impressed. If there is an upside, the conditioner was great: light with a nice fragrance.
