Value For Money

Avoid At All Costs

I purchased a vehicle through 247 money which turned out to be a HUGE mistake.

The car is valued at £4000, but will cost £8000 with high interest rates.

After having the vehicle for 18 months (36 month contract), I have spent close to £2,500 of repairs (turbo, manifold, faults lights, breaks etc) which shows the car was not fit for purpose.

247 Money have offered £150 here and there but have ultimately left me with no support at all. Often, when I have called they are laughing on the phone in the background and are very unprofessional.

I know that over 500 people have read my other reviews on the company, which means I have cost them business. This is the best I can hope for you reading this review. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Non Professional

Am bitterly disappointed with this company l. I accepted their offer for compensation in February and in April 21 sent my bank details to confirm where I wanted my funds to be sent. I was informed that I would receive my owed money by end of June 21 and have sent this as proof to them and Harrison's over 10 times but still get the no update and I have explained I need this money to pay other people off who I have told the funds wot be in by June 21 now I have them chasing me.

I have asked for emails and phone calls for better update as the email I have received are there generic emails they send to everyone.

All I need to know is actually when I will receive this money as I am now in month of September 21.

You would expect if a customer takes the time to write a email to them they would have decency to reply to all raised points sent.

Through this whole claim process I have spoken to someone once which is discusting if I owed them money I would expect several letters and emails to have been sent by them. Which is the case because when I previously borrowed from them in one occasion I was late by one day and had them calling me asking when I would paying them and they demanded a exact date.

Stay well away from this company if you can I've never had such stress from a Lian company before and I have used several.

If the table were turned they would be demanding my payment or even worse sent recovery letters to debt consolidation firms.

Rubbish

I am utterly baffled and have had many panic attacks and anxiety attacks, over this company. For starters asked for £500 was told I would get it and then only recieved £60. Paid this off first time and applied for another loan £500 approved again but guess what only got £60 again. Anyway cut a long story short I owe back £110, as I lost my job due to mental health and the fact that I can no longer go outside. They set up a £10 pp and take the full amount owed back knowing I am on benefits. I called up as soon as I saw the transaction and they said the refunds team will email me in 3-5 working days and the money will be back by then, I waited and called up on the 5th day only to be told it was never processed. I made another refund request and recieve no apology just a cold voice saying hold for a quick question they could me off mid speech. I have called up since then 10 more times, hung up on more times then I can count, emailed 10 times and even spoken to the very first advisor who dealt with it again who was confused why I hadn't recieved any email or money. I have also made 5 refund requests since then and flagged 7 times. I have finally got an answer yesterday asking for my bank account number and sort code, I answered literally within the same minute and still waiting for a response. Please don't don't go with this company, they may pay out quick but they never give you the amount requested and approved, they add too much interest and the customer service team are not trained very well so they have no emotion and will not help you with anything. Avoid at all costs please.

247moneybox.com Is An Awful Company!

Probably THE MOST RUTHLESS AND UNSCRUPULOUS of the parasitic payday lenders.

The website is atrocious, with constant links to other lenders, often brokers and not even lenders, just so they can cash in on referral fees by touting people already in financial difficulty.

No option to make a part payment, even before the payment due date, on their website.

Quite amateurish website, with a tick-box to state you will remember to logout each time!

If your circumstances change, utterly ruthless in demanding payment.

No option to roll over or negotiate, even with added interest.

Pure exploitation of post-2008 recession austerity and hardship among ordinary people.

If I had known this before applying, I would DEFINITELY NOT.

EVEN OTHER PAYDAY LENDERS are not this bad.

DO NOT USE!

Strange and highly untrustworthy company & STAFF, think twice before entering your delicate details with this company! I applied for a loan, which required me entering practically very important information, including all security details of my bank, my address etc yet.

The messed up part is having made an application I have not even got a reply, but I keep getting text messages about an application etc. On top of that I can't even log into the site.

Allowed Me To Take Out A New Loan Whilst Having An Old One

So I was in payday loan hell with 24/7 moneybox and whilst having to pay a debt on an old loan I was allowed to take out a new loan. I called up and after playing the music for an hour finally got through only to have useless staff deal with my concerns and very rude staff who slammed the phone down. Never responds to emails and cannot understand how a company like that is still trading. I have had serious anxiety and depression over this company and awaiting compensation for all loans plus 8% statutory payments.

Awful Customer Service

Firstly i applied day 1 for £200. Told me gone through beem accepted.... day 2, nothing. Email them and ask to 100% cancel my account and application. Receive a response saying 'are you sure? We can have money in your acc right away". I INSTANTLY reply "yes please 100% cancel my application and my account effect immediately". I then hear nothing from them till day 3. I am checking my internet banking and see +£80moneybox247 credit.

I instantly email them and say why is there £80 when i applied for £200 and why has this been deposited after i confirmed for my application to be cancelled. Completely unauthorised. Took a further 2 days for a pretty rude response. They took the £80 back and then took a further 2 emails to the company and a further 2 days for a confirmation that my account is closed.

All in all, 7 days worth of me emailing constantly, being lucky to notice a credit of a random amount by them, and resilience of wanting to ensure it is closed for NOTHING.

The entire time they said i was approved for £200 but only deposited £80. Imagine waiting multiple days for £120 less than you needed! NEVER AGAIN

Worst Loan Company I’ve Ever Used

One of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I tried to make a partial payment of £300 on my Visa card but the company said it didn’t go through. 2 days later it shows up on my bank statement and they deny they have received the payment! I spoke to various people who didn’t care in the slightest and had terrible attitudes. They asked me to email me the complaint but nothing is being done about my situation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Joke

Everything was going okay, asked for dependents and bank statement sent, checked account said "Your loan is being prepared for funding, subject to final bank checks". This was at about 1pm the previous day, kept checking no updates, checked bank details all correct so no issues there. Mailed them to ask for update and no reply. No funding either. Mailed them the following day for updated at about 0930 and it checked still the same status "Your loan is being prepared for funding, subject to final bank checks". Then at about 1245 I got a text to say that I had been unsuccessful!!!. This company just want your details- be careful. They will lull you into a false sense that you have the loan and then decline you. NEVER USE THEY ARE JUST IN IT TO GET YOUR DETAILS!!!!

I'm wondering if my loan has been accepted?

jillsloan

Do they contact my employer?

tinaburnell

Why aren't 247 moneybox answering their phones? Anyone else having this problem?

Rehan66

They will answer if you select option 1 or 2 but as soon as you say to them that you're calling regards to a new loan they will hang up on your face because auction 1 and 2 R4 repayment and they will pick up very fast but they will hang up on your face without saying anything.

linda1104

Why will nobody answer my emails I have sent. I am an existing customer and applied for a new loan that was 4 days ago normally it's done the next day. But nobody will let me know what's happening. I've tried calling also. Has anyone else experienced this?

intercityboi

Absolutely useless company, I would avoid at all costs. I used them for several loans, all paid off successfully and funded to the same bank account. I then applied, and was approved, but nothing materialized. I sent email after email, with no reply, and then tried to call. I spent over 90 minutes at a time with just 'please hold, your call is important to us'. Not important enough to answer it would seem.

At the conclusion, when I did finally get an answer, they said I couldn't receive a loan as my account wouldn't allow them to fund it. Bear in mind this was the SAME account that they had funded and retrieved payments from before. The manager said they were looking in to it and assured me it would be sorted. This was months ago and, after trying again and getting the same result, I decided to try elsewhere. Try WageDay Advance, they are very good and will fund your account within 1 hour after approval.
