Changed Price Of A New Van After Deposit Had Been Paid
These are now named TRUST FORD - Ha - yes Trust them to move the goal posts - ordered a used transit - 24 miles on clock - ex demo - was told that due to my financial status I would need to put 40% deposit down, got paperwork - signed the "legally binding" agreement and went down to the Transit Centre in Dagenham and paid over my £8,310.00 - then told finance paperwork would be forthcoming - when the finance document turned up 3 days later, after several chases, they had whacked on another £4,400 interest more than the original "contract", they also changed the deal to a 5 year deal instead of 3 years and conveniently lost £2,000 of the deposit already paid - when challenged the "business manager" (what a laugh he couldn't manage to break wind) told me - that's the way it is - I cancelled and went down to collect my refund and he went and hid in the toilets refusing to apologise or even see me - it was left to the embarrassed salesman to say sorry and that this happens all the time. One can only assume they take advantage of people with poorer credit ratings by changing the agreement after it has been signed. Disgusting - sharp practice - and when you try and search for who owns them, it leads to a shell company that is submitting dormant accounts - avoid them.

Charged For Services Not Provided
Tried to double charge me for a repair they didn't even attempt! I only found out when I came back in because the fault remained and the new person let it slip that the repair I paid for had nothing to do with the fault and records show that they didn't even do it! Then they blamed me for not noticing that they lied to me when picking up the van. They say it's my fault for believing them and signing the receipt. Waited 30 min to see manager (and still waiting), but no one appeared yet and they keep trying to just get me to go away.

The Worst Ford Dealership I've Ever Dealt With!
Alperton - Customer Service is not in their vocabulary, communication horrendous, expensive and unreliable.
In a word: Useless!

Don't Waste Your Time And Money
They need to change their name to don't trust ford! Disgusting hostile attitude by staff at the service counter, misleading information being given, extortionate prices for very little work to be done. I will never buy a Ford car ever again because of the way I've been treated. To write a review is not even enough I'll be taking my discrepancies with their so called service as far as I can go.

Brilliant Service, Even After Damage.
Had my car serviced here a few months ago and was very disappointed when it returned damaged. I took it straight back in and made the showroom manager aware of it. I was dealt with so effectively and efficiently I am unable to give them anything but 5 stars. I was issued with a courtesy car and the damage was fixed within two days. Also fixed some damage that was on the car before it went in to be serviced to compensate.
Great service from the whole team.
"was very disappointed when it returned damaged" and you still give them 5 stars. They smash your car up and you think that's brilliant service.
I bet they love customers like you...

Alperton: Beware Non-essential Extras Sold To You
Despite paying £16 a month for their service plan, which entitles me to a free MOT and service every year, each year without fail, I come away having spent hundreds of pounds on what, in hindsight, are surely non-essential products?!
This year I was asked if I wanted to:
update air conditioning filter £50
top up antifreeze £50
align wheels £xx
and other non-essential items £xx
I was already paying a lot to replace two tyres (£104 and a £10 rear bulb), plus engine warning light diagnostic check (£124 per hour) plus any repair costs. Coming to around £475. I reluctantly gave the persuasive man permission to go ahead with these jobs. I did actually decide not to go ahead with aircon and antifreeze, but they said they'd throw it in anyway (!!).
I was then called after the MOT had been carried out and passed, to be told that they had the wheels off (routine health check) and that they noticed that the break pads were very badly worn, and apologised for not noticing this earlier when I agreed to the original cost (with added extras costs), but that they were surprised the car passed the MOT, and could they add another £190 to the costs, bringing my grand total of non-MOT and service costs to £590 - and this was WITH a £150 discount, apparently. WHAAAAAT??!
Had I known about these more "essential" repairs, I wouldn't have agreed to the handful of other advised jobs. I'll consider taking the car to a local garage next year. Absolute joke. They certainly know how to scare customers into parting with their money.

Stay Away From Trustford Plaistow
Rude customer service, highly incompetent staff, they were not aware of the price of most of the cars out on sale! Never ever buy anything from them. They bully and pressurise you to buy even if you haven't liked it. They lack the basics of how to deal with customers. They didn't disclose the mileage discrepancy of one of the cars I thought was decent, luckily I managed to find the correct mileage online and had to cancel my booking. They didn't apologise to me and refused to refund the deposit. The manager was very rude to me and said to me that I never had any real intention to buy the car!!! What an idiot. Finally I had to approach the credit card company to get it refunded. I would not recommend anyone to do business with Trustford Plaistow.
I wish that I HD seen your review before my recent purchase. The service has definitely gone down hill. I won't be buying from there again.
Trust Ford Woodford
I brought used Kuga Titanium from the Woodford branch, so disappointed with them. I asked if car had been in an accident, and was told no, after closer inspection at home and confirmation from Trust Ford Gillingham it had been. Gillingham sorted out the work that had to be done, I was not going back to Woodford. I have no confidence in Woodford, so will always use Gillingham. Beware
Unnecessary Work
Been taking my wife's Focus to Dagenham Motors/Trustford in Hounslow for 6 years without any problems until this year. The car passed OK, but they "recommended" 3 jobs - air conditioning regas at £60, timing belt replacement at £499 and front lower suspension arms at £630. Total cost £1,189.
I turned down the aircon immediately as it was working perfectly anyway.Turned down the timing belt because they had recommended it a full year before it was due.Said Iwould think about the suspension arms.
Went to another garage a few months later to get the timing belt done and asked them to look at the suspension arms as well. Surprise, surprise, there was no need to replace them - thousands of miles left in them. Cost of replacing timing belt £312.
Total saving £877 and 2 unnecessary jobs. I won't be going back to "trust" ford again
