Vadi Restaurant, Ponders End, Enfield

Vadi Restaurant is a Turkish grill place. It is the best restaurant I have ever eaten in, and since discovering it, I have been spreading the good news to all my friends. The atmosphere is friendly, the service exceptional, the menu is long and varied, the quality of the food outstanding, and to cap it all off, the prices are very reasonable. A must for a first-time visitor is the Vadi special; A mixed-grill plate that is advertised as catering for two people, but in truth, it could easily feed three. It highlights the best things about Vadi. Good quality lamb and chicken, freshly grilled by experts, served on mounds of beautiful, fragrant Turkish rice and cous-cous. It has to be noted, that irrespective of what you might order, you always get an incredible array of complimentary starters, salads, dips, freshly baked flatbreads as well as Turkish tea/coffee and sweet-cakes at the end. This is a true gem of a restaurant, and I would recomend most highly. It is worth travelling there even from afar. Vadi is a legend. You always leave feeling well-fed and that you had a good deal.
