I bought my dispatch from the dealer as a pre reg with 9000 miles it suited well for size and design, it drove fairly well but poor on fuel, but as the few miles went on it has give me grief, it now has 32k miles has had 2 EGR valves, at 30k the gearbox went and needed 1st gear syncro hub, a bill of over £500 the dealer wanted £900, the suspension rattles like a bone shaker so dose the engine I only use this for traveling to and from work and light duties, if I had used this as a delivery van it wouldn't have made 30k, I used to be a mechanic and I asked for the old gear hub back, I was shocked at the quality of the blocker ring on the gear it was made of an aluminium ring held together with two little rods and riveted at each end, totally inadequate for a van, these same gearbox's are used in all types of vans and cars, a ticking time bomb, I now hate this I'll loose a packet on this to get rid of it, I'll never waste money on a Citroen again or any of the other vans like it they all use the same body engine and gearbox and just change the grill and badge.

Not too bad when it was new, the 1.6 diesel was surprisingly strong and it was not too bad to drive.
Different story now, like all French vehicles it's just a bag of misery, I'm glad it's a work van and not mine.
It had been recalled 4 times for various manufacturing faults, and the list of further faults is as follows.
3 fuse boxes, a set of injectors, fuel pump, fuel primer, fuel pipes, brakes, gear cables twice, gear selector twice, exhaust cover. It', broken dipstick holder. It's done 35k miles and feels slow and heavy, rattles and smokes like mad in the morning and drinks oil. If you're thinking of getting one, JUST DON'T!!
