I needed an afordable laptop for both university and home use. I ordered a Lanovo (ex-work model) laptop that was priced at a great price. I have used Lenovo laptops in perivous jobs, I thought this would be my go to machine! I was unsure about the condition of the laptop but was put at ease by a technician on their website chat function. I upgraded the RAM and storage to suit my needs.

I ordered on the Thursday and it arrived on the Friday morning at 9am. It arrived protected. The laptop was simple to set up (still setting it up with my own customisation and installing the programes I need. I have used BlackBarn Computures in the past and have always been impressed with the quality. Next month, I think I will order a monitor to assist me with my work.

Firstly I must say that I very rarely write reviews but in this instance I really wanted to spread the word. I contacted Black Barn Computers to ask for advice - we wanted to install some new software at home but our computer wasn't up to the job. I knew the 'minimum requirements and recommended requirements' for the software but didn't have a clue what sort of computer to buy etc. Wesley was brilliant! He suggested a computer that he had in stock and in the end we bought a computer, a graphics card (again, I hadn't a clue about these!), a new keyboard and mouse and a fabulous screen. Everything arrived promptly and is up and running. The computer and screen look as good as new and the software works beautifully. All this for £500 when I had thought I would need to spend over £1000 to buy just a new computer, yet alone the add-ons. I would definitely recommend this company.

Really A++ service from Blacbarn. I needed a fast pc and wasn’t sure about the quality of refurbished ones and had an online chat with a friendly technician who put me at ease. Purchased the highest spec PC available at that time and it arrived within 48 hours. Wrapped and packed very well and looked totally new. Started it up and it was amazing. So fast and absolutely no problems whatsoever and I have decided refurbished pcs are better than new ones at up to 50% lower than the new price. Blackbarn a re very professional and in my opinion are the best dealers out there after doing my research on other refurbished dealers.

I have recently purchased 2 machines from Black Barn Computers, the process was very easy and there was extremely good communication from Wesley throughout, all machines arrived fully setup with all the windows updates already installed and the latest graphics drivers, (this has saved me a lot of time when setting these machines up) The spec of the machines is very good and at an extremely competitive price.

I had an online chat with Wes who answered all my queries regarding what I was intending to use any potential purchase for. I do music production and needed something with a good CPU. The model I chose arrived looking like new, and works perfectly. No problems with handling large music projects, unlike my previous computer. Great service and products. Would highly recommend.

For a refurbished item it is in immaculate condition and it has windows 7

which I prefer, basic AVG anti-virus which I will replace later after cooling down period.

I was a bit dubious buying a refurbished pc but would recommend Black Barn Computers to a friend or relative!
