I've Had My Mitsubishi Lancer Sport Estate For Abo
I've had my Mitsubishi Lancer Sport Estate for about 6 months now and I thought I would review it as there isn't a lot of information around on this model. I haven't even seen another one on the road!
The car is basically a compromise. You get the practicality of an estate with the comfort and handling of a car that Ford & Vauxhall could only dream of putting together. And even if they did manage to build one, it would cost a lot more. The Lancer Sport is not about straight line speed, but boy does it make up for it in the corners. You can tell there is a lot of EVO technology in this car. The EVO & the Sport are pretty much the same apart from the sport is N/A and front wheel drive. The sport comes lowered by 30mm (firm but not harsh), front upper strut brace, sports seats (comfy but no lumbar adjuster) and a Momo steering wheel with air bag all as standard. You also get automatic climate control and air con. It also comes with fold flat seats to make van, a fake boot floor with more storage underneath, an arm rest front and back and ISO fix for the kiddies.
The only problem I have had with it is the clutch cable needed adjusting. That took 2 mins tightening a nut behind the clutch cable.
My only real gripe with the car is the availability of a Haynes manual and the MPG. I could stomach the 30 MPG or less if the car was faster. Apart from that it's a great car that looks and drives better than any of the competition.
