Don't Go Near Them!

Terrible training provider - course material made no sense, tutor left and there is no-one able to help, always have to chase them, still unable to take final exam as they have not given me the training they promised. I am stuck in limbo and they now do everything to avoid answering my calls and emails. It's disgusting that I've paid a large amount of money and now unable to complete my course due to their lack of help. I can say nothing positive about this organisation so I urge you to go and find a proper training provider.

Avoid!

To make you understand my frustration with DLC Training: I have submitted 3 assignments in November 2022, and now July 2023, I am still waiting for the last assignment to be reviewed.

Very disappointed, I've started my 3CIPD course a few years ago, I've had 2 extensions. When I've started my course, the tutor was very helpful and supportive. Then another tutor took over and it is very hard get in touch with her, emails ignored, I've raised a complaint as per the company's procedure about a month ago, did not receive an acknowledge email, even after I emailed again asking for it. And the thing is that the complaint went to my tutor for review, which makes no sense to me.

Very frustrating and I really need the certificate at this point to advance in my career.

Little Or No Support!

In an attempt to better myself and as I am in full time work I dediced to to do a distance learning course. I decided to go for the Level 3 CILT Transport and logistics course. The website and all the information is great and the paraphernalia associated told me everyting I needed to know and sold it to me.

In reality the promises made are not met. Trying to speak to someone who can help is difficult, and when I did the help offered was insufficient. The system for getting new material is protracted and in my opinion completely uncessary.

I decided to go it alone in the end and eventually completed the course.

It was not a good experience and I would not recommend this college.

I must also share the same sentiments as Chavez. I am trying to study level 5 and 6 CIPS. despite numerous emails over 3 weeks asking for clarity and costs and additional info, i have not received help from your end.

Thanks Chavez, I have dodged a bullet.

I am very sorry to hear that you feel you received little or no support and could not contact the college or found it difficult to contact us. Here at Distance Learning College, we are treating this review as a serious concern. I feel there must be a misunderstanding as the mentors are available on the telephone from 9pm to 5pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays, 9pm to 3pm or via email or via Livechat.

Tutors are also available to speak to on the following days and times:

Tuesday 1pm to 8pm, Wednesday, 5pm to 8pm and Thursdays 1pm to 8pm, you can book a monthly meeting with your tutor for a face to face appointment.

We can also speak to you via Skype, Facetime or send us an email and we will respond.

I would like to resolve this complaint, please can you contact me

Thank You Distance Learning College

I cannot thank DLC Training enough. I have just completed my second course with them which has enabled me to gain a promotion in my place of employment.

Although apprehensive at the start, my advisor discussed the most appropriate course for me, based on my future plans and although it wasn't a quick process, due to my finances, She was very patient and I finally began my studies.

For anyone wanting to study from home but feel they need a kick up the behind every now and then, Dlc is perfect. They have a team of mentors whom I was in touch with regularly and the tutors put up with my persistent calls and queries when I struggled to understand elements of the course.

I used the support when I needed it, rather than expecting them to be in touch with me continuously, which is the why I like it. Having someone ringing me when I wanted to go at my own pace wouldn't have worked for me, but the mentors are happy to adapt their approach to suit the students needs.

I cannot find anything negative to say and can only

Praise everyone that I have dealt with so far. If your sitting on the fence about studying, contact Dlc. I'm glad I did.

Excellent Experience

Fantastic experience with help and support throughout the course. Mentors were always contactable to offer help and answer questions. I was particularly impressed with the easy to use materials compared with other distance learning courses I have undertaken. Would certainly recommend this college

Supportive Encouraging Value

Always someone to talk to and advise without pushing for a sale

Felt like they had all the time just for me and questioned what I wanted and where I saw my career going then from this I was advised to take this course which I had previously thought was too high for me intellectually however we are generally self critical of ourselves and what we have actually achieved

I completed my course successfully with loads of support and encouragement and am studying at an even higher course now

Outstanding.

Support excellent communications clear great tutor great expertise. They also understand working pressures as the tutors I have spoken to all come from major management backgrounds which really helps me. Biggest positive tutor support unlimited. Which has been great for my development as I have progressed through my level 7.

This is my first time studying a distance learning program and the flexibility combined with all I have said above has been great.

Absolutely Not Recommend!

When I or a call from DLC and Training gentleman said everything will be done at home and in course fee (£1512 for CILT Level 3) is everything - materials, tutour help, exams and assignments fee. But no! You have to pay for exams (£69 fee!) plus waiting for materials only 1,5-2 months! Poor communication with your Mentor. All the time they are changing them. One mentor saying absolutely something different than second one. I done know how they have 4.1 rate. Avoid this College!!

Very Poor Communication

Just to sum up really this company needs far better communication skills. Very frustrating when you can never get through on phone, when books are late etc. Not good experience.

Cmi Level 5

An overall exciting and fully comprehensive study with all the necessary resources required to successfully complete the course provided by the college for a reasonable price. Generally, the tutors are efficient and provide good honest feedback in order for the student to have best chance at passing the course with minimal revisions within a required time frame. The course itself is very interesting and uses good examples so the student can grasp the full extent of any particular subject. This course has been highly beneficial and knowledgeable for myself and I look forward to the prospect of further extending my studies by completing Level 7 which I can only assume is also an exceptional course.
