Rotary Aquaspeed

What a load of rubbish! I had two new Rotary Aquaspeeds as a present from my other half as I liked both the styles and collect watches. Both failed on the screw in winders pulling out, both went back to Rotary UK only to be repaired, fail again and then be replaced by them as they were only a couple of months old. Now after only being worn 5 times one of them has failed on guess what? the winder again! If you take the back off one of these watches you will find a cheap Mitoyo 'unadjusted' quartz movement as you would get in a £20 watch so why do they cost £150 each or more? Just a con for anyone stupid enough to equate Rotary's old reputation with what they are turning out now. I have a Tissot that is a similar price and flawless or should I say properly engineered and some cheap Avia's that make the Rotary's look sad in toughness and longevity.
