I'm in. If we can do anything about it I'm in. The quantum server was taken by company called IRUN Solutions which is probably even worse than Quantum was. They forcing money out of us by threatening to delete website if we don't pay. I will for sure look for legal action against these two companies and don't let them to bully us or other companies.

what about quantum hosting & support ? They've taken money from people for annual hosting then handed the client list over to Irun who then alert clients that they must pay £95 for a copy of their site or pay £375 p/a for hosting .... and they've taken on supposedly 2 old Quantum staff...

Anyone still with irun previous Quantum, everything ok?

They couldn't care less. Now saying a company called IRUN solutions have taken over the running of things but according to Companies House they are in liquidation.

Thequantumavenger or others, have any of you had any luck in contacting the owners of Quantum Web. Any success stories??

I've been contacted this afternoon by a company called Irun (01865 920003) stating that they are now in charge of Quantum's Servers and in order for my website to continue being hosted I needed to pay an additional £375, not much help to me as my website was mid redesign & they want to charge me for hosting nothing! I said I wasn't paying as I'd already paid hosting fees for the year to Quantum and was told that Quantum is now basically Lisa Salmon & a mobile phone, when they heard I wasn't paying I was told me website which is currently under a holding page would be deleted from the server. Of course they would be happy to quote to continue the work, sounding rather similar to the story I was told when Quantum took over from Linesave & I had to shed out a load of money that time too, I'm seeing a pattern emerging here!! IT'S ALL A BIG CON!!

I worked for them 4 years ago, it was a good company at that time, was growing. I do not want to be bad, but I think I should contact the Tazamo, the site is the same, just change the colors ... if you open the url (CMS) can still see the colors from the top of the form, is the same one used by Quantum.

I had my website built with Quantum many years ago, and at the time it was pretty good - but not the best website system in the world.

However recently Quantum vanished and I was really stuck, luckily someone was around to offer me advice and support and then also offered me hosting which has not only got me away from Quantum but now I'm safe from future problems as I can backup my server and have FTP access whenever I want.

With regards to getting money back you could try your bank and see what advice they have. I paid my deposit on Credit Card so I am now going through the whole process of trying to claim money back. Someone else mentioned to me about finding out who the liquidators are and going on a creditors list, can't see anything happening with that though if I'm honest.

Hi, I also lost £1700 with this firm, the person behind it appears to be a Lisa Salmon. Contact Nigel Rowland a trading standards officer who is trying to find her new company as they moved nearby. His details are mailto:[email protected]

We too have lost £1700 to this company, the person behind it appears to be (name removed). We actually had an email from someone at the company who admitted that Quantum network and support had ceased trading. We have had someone from Trading Standards in Shropshire visit their offices and he said that they left in a hurry. Also if you did not get a VAT receipt as we didn't contact HMRC.

I've just found out today that they've closed down too and I can't get onto the Tovuti Admin site to do anything to my website. I'm in a better position than you though, as at least mine is live.
