Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Company

I have recently ordered 2 more beds from this lovely company.

We had our first bed from them many years ago and as we now have a bigger house, I am delighted to order more from them.

We haven't gone for their bigger sizes, but against a previous post by somebody, whom I'm sure has the wrong company. These beds are very heavy and that is their only downside! Everybody we have spoken to is very friendly and visiting their showroom was a lovely Saturday out. It was lovely to see her again and felt like catching up with an old friend.

This family company truly are lovely and their beds are fabulous.

Had a terrible experience with this company. They invited me down from Chester to an exhibition in London and then to Norfolk at considerable cost. Then reneged due to a "change of marketing policy". Others report "The 'BRASS' is brass plated very thin steel with a shiny laquered finish". AVOID!

For genuine UK made brass bed, worth trying a new company in Chester time-for-bed.

Everything about this company was first-class. It took around 5 weeks between order and delivery and during that time I was given regular progress updates on my order. The first suggested delivery date was not convenient for me so they brought it forward with no fuss and the delivery driver, could not have been more helpful and polite (I paid the extra £50 for the assembly option).

The bed itself (Emma) is beautiful and, as far as we are concerned, a real bargain.

Looked about for a while to find beds for our daughters. We live in Devon, so it felt a bit of a risk ordering two children's Ruby beds only having viewed them online, but are so glad we did. We bought them in the January sale, so feel we got very good value. We did not buy mattresses as we already had these.

The beds are really lovely: strong, heavy, and superbly designed and constructed. We were able to choose the colours of the daisies on the beds, and they were very helpful in emailing us the colours before she painted them to check that they were as we wished. We opted to have the brass bed knobs rather than the cream (no additional cost), and feel that they add to the look of the beds. Our daughters (aged 3 and 5) are truly delighted with their beautiful beds, and we are thrilled that they are so well made.

It is rare that something exceeds expectations, but these do, and we would not hesitate in ordering again from this company. Highly recommended.

At first i was looking to replace my other bed, however have ended up with an upgrade.

Originally I was looking for a leather bed, however when stumbling across this companies webiste, i was suprised by the diverity and choice within their range; and suprisingly they were only an hour away.

The bed was delivered on date and the delivery driver, and was called earlier that morning to confirm a time, so i wasnt sitting around and waisting my day.

The bed was easier than i thought to assemble, and the mattress was amazing.

My bed is a Bronte, Kingsize with a pillow top mattress.

Have recommended my parents.

I purchased a bedstead from the wrought iron and brass bed company and have to say it’s the best bed I've ever brought.

The delivery man was very nice and helpful; he gave a few tips on how best to assemble the bed but actually it was very simple and straight forward to do.

The bed itself looked fantastic could not pick a single fault and it looks perfect in its new place.

I showed it to a friend of mine and they were so impressed they are planning to order a bed from the same company.

Loved the bed; great dealing with the company, strongly recommend others have a look.

Elegant and stylish - Victoria Bedstead and Mattress

Elegant and stylish.

I have just moved into a new house and wanted to decorate from new and to my own style. Forced to the internet due to some appalling customer service by some of London's top end retailers, I came across this company who offered a great range in styles and was able to tailor make this to myself.

As like seeing any other item on the internet I had a few reserves and questions, about delivery etc as I live in South London and the company is in Norfolk.

The lady, who answered the phone, was incredibly helpful and was able to answer any of my questions; and it felt more like calling a friend then a sales person, due to her lovely phone manner.

I was told delivery is normally made within 21 - 28 days, and full payment is taken at the time of order; but was explained all beds are handmade to the customer's order. I received my bed within their stated delivery period, and the gentleman who delivered was very friendly, and offered to take the bed out of its boxes so I am not left with any large cardboard boxes to dispose of (As space is a bit tight at the moment).

Both me and my partner are delighted with our new bed and mattress, and have been pleased with the customer service throughout the whole process.

In contrast to the previous review, we have had no problems with this company or their product and would go as far as to say, we have received better service from this small family run company than some of London's high end retailers.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new bed and mattress, and shall defiantly be ordering again.

I ordered a "Beatrice" Antique Brass and Wroughtiron Headboard with Coolie Bed Knobs. What I received was a poor imitation completely different from the item advertised on their web site. The 'BRASS' is brass plated very thin steel with a shiny laquered finish. The order took about 9 weeks (payment is taken in full when placing the order) it then took another 3 months to get a replacement but they has still sent a cheap imitation of the product which is still displayed on there web site. I would not recommend this company and I am about to contact trading standards.
