We have just had all our old guttering removed, and replaced with new guttering,facias, and soffits; we particularly liked the shape of the guttering (not rounded) and the ease of fitting; the complete works looks very neat and secure from ground level, and first heavy rain has shown there are no obvious leaks, and no rain dripping onto our coservatory; very pleased with poduct and Company.. There was nothing that I did not like..

the tradesman were polite, professional and hardworking. they answered all my queries and they worked in a clean and tidy way. There was nothing i did not like and i have recommended the company to a friend. The service that was provided was tailored to the individual's need and budget. There was no pressure.

Being a house owner for the past 47 years or so every so often things go wrong requiring various types of companies for repairs such as central heating, electrics, windows, doors, roof tiling, felted roofs, driveway, painting, decorating, white goods, to mention a few.

During those years many times I was mentally tortured by companies:

- not keeping the appointments and some had never heard of a telephone

- whether they would turn up or not having sacrificed my own plans for them

- frustrated when they turned up two hours late and left early having taken money up front without fully carrying out the work

- did not care having left with no water or electricity over night.

In some cases, had sleepless nights caused by some companies forcing me to take them through Small Claims Courts for shoddy workmanships, malfunctions of installations, not clearing building debris from the site and in one case the company was not even registered as Safe Gas Engineers yet had a bogus registration number. It was like taking medicine for ailment and landing up with secondary ‘side effects’ requiring yet more medicine

But for once in my life, as a retired 72 year old Civil and Structural Engineer, I came across one company, Crystal Home Improvements, who left me bewildered from start to finish. I ordered 13 double glazed windows for my daughter’s house. Their quote was about average from 7 others but unlike others their representative was punctual, friendly and above all honest. One gets to know when someone is just there to score a contract at customer’s expense.

The whole contract took two and a half weeks from start to finish. Two days after receiving the nod from me Crystal Home Improvement sent their Technical Surveyor who turned up well before the appointed time. He was aware that I lived some 4 miles from my daughter’s house and had personally to be there for him for the appointment.

The very next day had a call from Crystal Home Improvement thanking me for the deposit cheque and fixed the installation date.

A crew of two extremely polite and respectful gentlemen arrived punctually in their white van and started the installations. For four days they were at the site systematically performing their set tasks like robots. My wife generously made tea for them every day but they would not even stop to drink.

At every window installation they had dust sheets both inside and outside taking due care to minimise damage whilst removing the old widow and stacking neatly outside. In the evenings they carefully removed the dust sheets, vacuum clean the rooms inside with new windows, swept the outside putting all debris in plastic bags and loaded their van leaving the premises clean and tidy. Both my wife and I were very impressed by the installation crew. Their work was outstanding, clean and of very high standards.

On their last day, after the installation crew left with the final payment cheque I wrote a letter to their CEO praising what a splendid job Crystal Windows had done. Judging by their performance I am sure they receive many complimentary letters. Had I known in July 2012 that Crystal Home Improvement were also in Solar Panels installation business I would have given that contract too.

We will recommend Crystal Windows to our relatives and friends at every opportunity we get so they too can enjoy hassle free installations.

From the moment, (through a very competable quote, I realized my dream could come true)the survey, and the guys who fitted it have been very professional, very helpful, and when they left all was clean and tidy. The whole Crystal experience from office, salesman, surveyor to fitter was absolutely flawless, we had a composite door with side panel fitted, it has changed the look of our home, the fitter was obviously highly trained with years of experience, he was very tidy, no mess at all and in a couple of hours we were admiring the new addition to our beautiful home, I would definately use this company again, they are polite, punctual, experienced and clean.
