Bought an emperor sized bed and the order process and delivery couldn’t have been better. Went to the show room to try the mattresses and couldn’t choose between two medium feel mattresses. The sales person said that they have a 28 day satisfaction on the mattresses so if it is not right they will exchange for another (at cost for difference). We thought ok and went for the one we liked that was less expensive (not cheap).

It arrived and the frame was exactly what we wanted but the mattress was awful and nothing like the show room. It was so hard it barely had any give and I could feel all the mattress buttons. I rang the show room the next day and told them. They said they’d note my call but to give it a few weeks to let it settle. After 4 weeks it was still rock hard, despite the medium mattress label. I called them up and the lady said that they don’t do exchanges and the best they could do was a refund and collect the mattress for me to source another one. I made a fuss as I feel that this was miss sold. In the end they said that we could have an exchange as a one off. The difference in price was over £700. We decided that we had no confidence in their mattresses and felt that we could spend another £700 to find the new mattress as bad as the current one. We thought about the refund but the stress of arranging the pick up and finding an emperor mattress that is ok just put us off. We have bought a topper so that I don’t have to feel the buttons.

It’s just not ok to sell mattresses with the beds that are nothing like the show room and sell with guarantees they have no intention of honouring.

I would love to have recommended a British made local product but I’d suggest that you go elsewhere as their customer care once you’ve bought the bed is abysmal. Gutted. I’ve paid a significant amount of money for a mattress that is not what I wanted or in any way similar to what I tried in the show room and their response was awful. If the Directors wish to visit and try it for themselves in order to realise just how rock hard it is they are welcome. They need to review their partnership with the mattress provider and stop selling mattresses with guarantees of satisfaction.

Ordered Orleans 4 poster bed absolutely stunning bed. Looks great dressed and this was my second bed ordered through this company along with other bedroom furniture Always been very happy. Until there is a problem. So during a house move a small part of bed had come off. Which I managed to keep it just needs a professional to repair. So contacted revival who asked for image. Then receive response back saying it couldn’t be repaired And they would be happy to quote me for new bed . ( I could glue this myself but with the bed costing nearly £2000 I wanted someone to do it properly ) so I responded with the fact the piece is in tact and could be repaired they didn’t even ask for more images just said they could give me quote for a new bed. Implying to throw a perfectly good bed away which cost like I say nearly 2k. So I responded again. To receive another message stating we will be happy to give you quote on new bed. They weren’t interested in repairing even though they state Beds last a lifetime they do if aftercare exists. So disappointed as wanted to switch all beds in house eventually to revival beds but knowing how they just wanted me to pay for a new bed. Didn’t Even ask for more images and dismissed helping repair the bed. I would not recommend and they are clearly about the money not quality of beds as they insist. Been a loyal fan of revival until now. You don’t spend that much money on a bed to be told it can’t be repaired come and buy a new one. This bed was amazing as well. But now left with a bed that needs repairing and being told to throw it away and buy a new one. Shocking service. Definitely shop around before you buy one here. As very costly for no aftercare. I even offered to drop panel in so they could repair it wasn’t bothered about cost of repair. I offered even if was wrong shade I could paint I just wanted it perfect and was told no.

Having taken delivery of a revival bed and bedroom furniture, I was upset to see a few issues develop with the bed. I contacted revival beds about this and their response was absolutely spot on. They replied by return of e-mail and quickly arranged for staff to come out to view the furniture. the guys who came out couldn't have been more helpful and all my issues were very satisfactorily resolved; including replacing the bed because of a flaw in the wood. I have just taken delivery of the new bed and am delighted. Thank you very much Revival Beds, I will definitely recommend you to my friends.

We shopped around for a long time looking at sleigh beds. Some big furniture stores had them but they all looked cheaply made when you really examined them. Then we found Revival beds, had a nice day out in Retford and ordered a Camargue super king size and a pair of zip and link natural collection mattresses because a super King size mattress won't go up our stairs. The quality is brilliant, beautifully made, and very comfortable, a wee bit more expensive than big stores but they offer no comparison to the product. Installation went ok, but some parts were left in the factory and one of the chaps had to drive back from Halifax and collect them. Overall we are really happy satisfied customers.

Ordered the bed, turned up as promised can not fault the installers, the workmanship and quality is excellent would recommend.

Our four poster bed is ok, 2 guys turned up to install but one of them tried to install the canopy of our bed on his own while the other chap was on the phone!

He failed.

The wooden beam from the canopy fell, hit the wall side light knocking it off, left a big dent in our freshly wallpapered wall, bounced off the other wall leaving more marks and finally hit the ground with a thud on to our brand new cream carpet. The bed is dark walnut and the carpet was marked terribly!

When my wife and o rushed in after hearing the loud crash, we found the Revivalbed guy say cross legged over what we later found out to be the damage to the carpet. We think this is convinient but cannot say for certain he was trying to hide it. Though, what grown man sits cross legged in the middle of the room??

After we left the room they had kindly put on our old mattress. Kind, we thought, until we discovered the marks on the carpet that the mattress had covered. Again, convinient or the act of a guilty conscience?

Overall we are really disappointed with the 'clown like installation'. They eventually offered us just £100 as compensation though it cost much more to fix the damage and destruction they left behind. We only found out about the carpet AFTER accepting the £100, though the two installers would have known about the damage yet said nothing.

We would never recommend Revivalbeds to anyone.

from the start of our experience to the day the guys came and fitted our bed, you could not wish for a more professional experience, we would recommend to our best friend!!!! when you have a great experience you should tell people and visa versa.....so well done to all the staff.

Would definitely recommend Revival Beds. The website is very professional and the help and advice from the company was spot on. We did not attend the showroom or even lie on the mattress so bought both products solely from the pictures on the website and telephone advice re: mattress. After looking for a very long time for our ideal wooden bed we finally found it on the Revival Beds website. We wanted to see the beds for ourselves instead of just the pictures on their website or in their brochure. So off we went from Manchester to Redford. A little trouble finding the showroom, but once we found it we fell in love with our bed, the County Kerry in natural wood and at 7' X 6'6" it has now taken pride of place in our new bedroom. We are now considering the matching bedside tables!! From order through to delivery by the 2 A**y's. We are extremely happy with our new bed, and would highly recommend Revival Beds to future customers.

Our new bed from Revival Beds is gorgeous. We had been looking for a bed for our new bedroom and read about Revival Beds in a local magazine. We live locally so visited the showroom and could see the talented carpenters working downstairs. The furniture was beautiful. We found our perfect bed and chose the stain we liked. We were picky about delivery dates but Revival couldn't have been more helpful and delivered exactly when we wanted it. Delivered by the very friendly two A's AKA 'The A Team' who not only put the bed together but provided helpful advice about care and cleaning of the bed. Customer service throughout the whole experience was explemporary from the sales to organising delivery to the delivery itself. We are thrilled with our new bed. A beautiful display of local craftsmanship. Excellent value too. Very happy customers
