Metallica, Live Sh*t-binge & Purge - Usa Is Reason
Metallica, Live Sh*T-Binge & Purge - USA is reasonably priced at around AU$130. There are 3 videos/DVDs included as well as 2 cds. One tape takes a look at the '...And Justice for all' tour, and the other 2, the 'Where ever I may roam' tour. Both shows are edited quite well giving us multiple views of all members on stage and off. Excellent audio, with multi choice for DVD version. There are no multi-angle properties for the DVD version, but the great quality of their performances seems to stand alone. The CDs are basically a duplicate of the 'Where ever I may roam' tapings although in a different country. They include such Metallica classics as; Enter Sandman, Master of Puppets, Sanitarium, Fade to Black etc. What is very special about this collectioin is that they've included footage from the '...And Justice for All' tour, giving you a front seat ticket to a raw Hetfield, and inspiring Hammett. This video/DVD includes songs like; Blackened, The frayed ends of sanity, Harvestor of Sorrow etc. This package as a whole is quite repeatitive, and you'll undoubtedly be hearing the same songs 4 times before you've listened and watch all there is. There are a few specials on the DVD, but none worth serious note. If you were to purchase this 'time capsule' the best bet is to obviously go with the DVD version so to experience the extreme militia that is Metallica on the highest level of quality availible. Overall the package is best described as, 'a 5 hr grand finale capturing all the best works from Metallica collaborated in 2 big billed shows infront of old time loving friends and fans.' Very high intensity music for metal heads.
