Don't Buy From Triton
Triton showers.....what a rip off. I bought a Jade shower 3 and had it fitted by a qualified plumber/electrician of 40 years experience. Triton engineer turned up this morning and informed me that the main wire feed was not fitted tightly enough and subsequently the shower has burnt out. What after 17 months of twice daily use!!!. The Triton engineer also states that as I didn't pay him the £68.00 pounds call out today the bill would be increased to £99.00 because it would be invoiced. Is this a legal practice!!!!The plumber who fitted the shower also disputes the Triton Engineers statement as he feels that the wire was securely tightly fitted 17 months ago. This all sounds like a Triton rip off and I will not be buying their showers in future.......Customers beware-don't buy Triton.

Poor Customer Service
Guarantee only covered the thermostat in the Dove shower mixer bar - no other components of the shower assembly! Poor quality nylon fixing broke dropping the heavy shower head onto the the bath causing a crack on the surface. Customer service non compromising when I explained what happened and no discount on the replacement shower head!. Buy Triton product at your own risk and don’t expect satisfactory customer service if things go wrong!!!

Triton Unhelpfull And Not Able To Compromise
We bought a Triton Aspirante power shower and had it installed by our plumber. Imeadiatly after it was connected to the water supply it began leaking. When we contacted the supplier,Plumbase, we were told we had to contact the manufacturer. They sent an engineer, he refused to even look at it as the plumbing deviated from Tritons instructions, they charged me £68. The plumber had taken the supply from the bath tap supplies, mainly because of the diffculty in providing a dedicated supply at resonable cost in an old house. Triton would not entertain the fact that it was not where the supply came from that caused the shower to leak and were totally inflexible as was the jobsworth engineer. Turned out that the seal rubbers in the thermastat body had become mis aligned. Dont buy a Triton shower unless you are prepared to have it installed as per their instructions to the letter.

Unhappy With Triton
I had a Triton shower installed in a newly built property around 2009. Since then it has broken down twice. On the first breakdown, the Triton engineer persuaded me to pay £49.75 for an extended warranty. Now that it has broken down for a second time, Triton have refused to repair the shower free of charge under the warranty, saying that the problem is due to scale in my water. They have refused to refund the warranty cost to me and are charging £120 for removing the limescale. This is rather expensive given the cost of the shower. I am of the opinion that the design of the shower is poor if has broken down so frequently, especially as it is not unusual to live in a hard water area. I would not buy a Triton shower again.

So Much Trouble!
We had a Triton T80si pumped shower installed by electricians around ten years ago. From the start the on/off switch kept sticking. Nice as he was, the Triton engineer couldn't work out why it kept sticking. Apparently, they'd never come across the problem before and couldn't reproduce it at their testing place. Unable to diagnose the fault he replaced the cover and it rectified the problem. I did take umbrage at the suggestion from Triton head office that it must have been the soap, shampoo or conditioner we were using! Anyway, that was resolved and during its extended warranty, it was one thing after another. The engineer was a lovely guy who always resolved the problem to our satisfaction to the extent that when the can started leaking and setting off the RCD he replaced the whole shower. He then warned us that under the terms and conditions, we no longer had a warranty since we had a different shower. I wasn't happy to hear that since we'd paid to extend the warranty for, I think, five years in the belief that I would have a working shower for five years. Luckily, the new shower didn't fail before the warranty finally expired, so we didn't have to get into any arguments with Triton. After the warranty expired, the shower did start to fail on a few occasions, but my husband, being a 'competent person', took to diagnosing and resolving the problem himself with the excellent help of Showerdoc. Triton's customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We most recently replaced a part just before Christmas 2011 and wanted the part urgently. I paid for next day delivery. When the next day the item had not arrived at 5pm I called to establish the situation and was told it might be delivered that day or it might be the day after. I pointed out that I had paid for next day delivery and the girl said again that it might or might not be delivered. She clearly didn't care. I told her it had better be delivered that day or I would expect a refund of the next day delivery charge I had paid, to which she gave me a sarcastically polite reply. In fact, the part did arrive later that day, but I suspect that was because I made a fuss. With a few exceptions (the lovely engineer and one very helpful girl who helped us when the wrong part was sent),the Triton staff do not adopt the right attitude when dealing with customer enquiries, and this must be down to training. Anyway, I'm writing this review because the shower's gone wrong again and I'm looking for help on the internet as to why it should keep immediately tripping the RCD. My honest opinion is that I wouldn't buy one again.

Less than 12 months old and it is clear to me, (and Triton design backroom staff?) that their has been a MAJOR design fault in that no matter how the remote/control panel is placed and secured the buttons are NOT waterproof therefore seepage soon renders the circuit board faulty as the conducting circuits rust/corrode and short out. A Triton (sub contractor) engineer has already been twice and when my email with photos of the fault arrives at Triton customer service and is actioned I trust he will be out again soon without a charge!
Do the RIGHT thing Triton and recall and/or design a new fascia!
Sometimes I wonder what BSI standards actually adhere to in this country as more or less anything can be manufactured and sold and its the consumer who always gets RIPPED OFF :(
INVALID - REVIEW IS FOR MODEL T300si

Easy Enough To Fit As It Was A Triton Replacement.
Easy enough to fit as it was a Triton replacement. I installed a tank in the loft just above the shower which was also easy. Turned the shower on expecting some noise after all it is a pump but wow.....these things are very noisy and the water power from the handset is pretty feeble. I could not recommend this shower because of these two factors and if customer service reviews are anything to go by how the heck is this company still trading? Overall very disappointing.
The reason you would have been disappointed with the shower's performance is because the t80si is NOT a pumped shower. It is an electric shower which should always be connected to the mains cold feed and never tank fed. The noise you heard was probably your shower struggling for it life. I think anyone reading this post should be aware of this fact first.

I Bought The Triton T300si Mainly Because The Remo
I bought the Triton T300si mainly because the remote pack with all the electrical bits and pump were situated outside the bathroom so increasing the safety aspect. However my electrician could not get the shower to work and spent a whole day trying everything possible. After spending £6.00 ringing Triton 0844 no.an engineer came out and replaced Printed Circuit Board, a factory mistabke. I wrote to Triton to ask for compensation for my electrican's time but they would not and a weak apology was given. Since then the shower head has failed after 7 months and the thermosat will not heat the water in very cold weather. Do not under any circumstances order spares from Triton they are very expensive. I would never buy a Triton shower again, at £359.00 is was not cheap. My other shower is an Aqualisa Shower, not a thing has gone wrong with it in 14 years, I regret not spending the extra, getting a good shower and excellent after sales.
