Essentials Electric 9.5kw

Essentials Electric is a great shower. The flow rates versus water temperature aren't really different from any other power shower, but this shower has built in temperature stability. If someone lowers the water pressure (by flushing the loo etc) then the shower cleverly prevents you getting scalded by immediately compensating. Also if the flow rate goes up (someone turns the bath tap off) you don't get frozen. In fact the shower maintains the temperature within 6 degrees C whatever you do to it. Clever, and worth it for everyday use, especially when the wife is bathing the kids during your shower!

Installed myself with ease, although electrical connectors are a touch on the small size for the cable needed and I had to remove a strand of copper from each conductor.

This is a tidy shower, I bought mine at a very reasonable price from B&Q.

The only damage done is to the vertical rail onto which the spray nozzle is fixed. You are supposed to unlock the spray nozzle to rotate it, but Mrs Shower just twisted until the internal peg on the rail snapped. With a bit of fiddling, this can be repaired, but the internal peg will not take abuse. Tell your wife first once you have fitted it!
