Asda Grocery Delivery Fail

ASDA GROCERY DELIVERY are purging customers in delivery locations they don't like delivering to. We live in the countryside and our postcode does not take you directly to our house. Well, that is very frequently the case for tens of thousands of homes, if not more. So we put additional instructions on the delivery to find us. What3words takes you directly to our door and many drivers have used this and remarked on how helpful it is. They also have our phone number, but now they won't ring, or use what3words, they just cancel our order. Either the corporation, or store management, or the drivers themselves are deciding who can and cannot have food.

I hope someone whistle blows on this situation who works, or has worked at ASDA. The seriousness of not getting food, when you are running out of most things, don't have a car and are diabetic etc...it is despicable of ASDA to allow this to happen.

Why would a corporation raking in billions of pounds treat paying customers like something they want to wipe off their shoe?

Something is going badly wrong in this country, there is no customer service whatsoever. I am sill waiting for a call back from management about this issue, weeks later. Of course they won't call back, they have pushed me to use another supermarket.

We shopped at ASDA for over 11 years straight. Spent tens of thousands of pounds with them, had their credit card etc. It means zero to them, plenty more suckers out there to use and them bin when inconvenient.

Review Of Cafe

I visited the store on Monday 1st July 2024. The cafe was awful, the tables were filthy.

The food was diabolical and the chips appeared be have been warmed up and hard. Cutlery was also filthy and had to clean them myself before using them. Would never eat there again

Be Careful When Using Asda Express Delivery

Placed an online order 15/06/24 for 3rd party express delivery £8.50 (delivered by Uber) at Asda Southbank.

So between Asda and Express delivery. A full bag of my shopping with almost £30 has gone missing… 5 item in total (not the first time).

My refund… reject! I rang Asda customer services as soon as I requested a refund. I knew they would reject refund as their usual response is it shows delivered to your address.

The whole Express deliver is so flawed as your trapped between Asda and Uber who will take no responsibility. Instead it’s the buyer who is penalized (no items and no refund) HOW CONVENIENT for both companies.

Be very careful when using Asda's Express delivery its flawed!

Disgusting Customer Service!

Would be zero stars if I could!

Ordered shopping through express delivery, received a text saying they had cancelled?!

Was then told to rearrange, so, chose between 4 and 5pm the following day.

Was in but just, I arrived home about 3.45 and went to let the dog out, I then looked at the door to find a sorry we missed you card ! I then received a text to say that my order was cancelled! This was all in the matter of minutes and all before 4pm.

Called their customer helpline, which was 4.03pm and was told that there was nothing they could do. Absolutely shocking service and even worse customer service!

Invalid Apple Gift Cards

I purchased 2x £50 gift cards from your inside Dunstable store (Bedfordshire) upon opening one then the card inside stated £100 on it, upon trying to use the code it was deemed invalid by the system, I returned to Asda & spoke to the assistant manager who refused any responsibility towards selling the cards claiming it had nothing to do with Asda (well it has actually as Asda has taken £100 in total), he to,d me to contact Apple, I phoned them & I was told that both the £50 cards had in their terms been tampered with & that Asda should contact their supplier of the cards & confront them with the findings, tApple have my complaint logged in their system, Asda owes me £100 so I want to known how you plan to refund me & dont give me the excuse of oh they are third party products & we dont refund rubbish, if you sold a punnet of tomatoes which had one rotten one in it then you would replace it wouldnt you (they are a third product product >from farm*> to packager>to Asda so in reality its no different is it? Apple told me that the cards do not originate as a complete package so at that point is when they must of been tampered with!

Please resolve this matter ASAP otherwise I will have no option but to approach police. 3 other Apple gift cards purchased from the same store earlier in the year upon trying to use them they came up as 'inactivated' so that was another sale, money which you owe me.
If you give me a legitimate email address I can return photo copies of these said cards by return.

Asda Dropped Honesty, Quality, Morals And Standards

ASDA is a company that dropped honesty, quality, morals and standards

The person who delivered my order (2882487002275) had taken half of the items. You refused to provide a refund. I am now lodging a formal complaint with the relevant authorities. Your service has deteriorated significantly. The recent products you've delivered have been a complete letdown for both me and other customers. Outsourcing your deliveries may lead your business into administration. You have disappointed me on the last five occasions I've ordered. I will no longer be your customer due to this severe decline in your service, product quality, and customer support, and most importantly, your lack of honesty. You unlawfully rejected my refund request. This marks the end of more than 15 years of loyalty, despite your supermarket having the most straightforward delivery system (albeit with some questionable quality).

Needless to say I will be the ambassador of your lack of morals and standards and you will see my reviews all over the web.

How much is the the 2.5 lt distilled water

Louise54321

Just when I start to love a range of goods, Asda stops selling it! Do you know how I can request to Asda to start re-selling the stuff I love? For example it has stopped selling Sunbites original crisps and only sells the flavoured versions which are not nearly as nice! I want to ask them to go back to selling this!! Advice please!

Lynton Susman

I'm afraid this IS a typical supermarket practice. It's down to their statistics and if they show poor figures, then the line is "pulled." I know it very often doen't make sense, particularly when they appear to sell out, week in, week out. Do I think they sometimes get it wrong ? The answer is, "Absolutely !" But you have to realise, this IS a numbers game and what to you think it really matters to Asda if they get the stats on an odd line, wrong ?

Is it possible to give specific instructions to the order picker?

galadriel2x

As far as I know you can only show the picker your preference for substitutions. You can set the substitutions as yes or no in your account and you can also alter it for individual items when you are checking out. You can leave instructions for the delivery driver, such as please use back door etc. But it doesn't seem that there is any way to leave specific instructions for the picker.
