my call lasted 0.34 seconds and I was charged £5.96. Came on this page to see if it was a mistake but reading other comments it now looks as though it's just that kind of Company'.

It's hard to know where to start. What kind of company makes its money in this way? They charged me £8.55 for providing one number. No onward connection. Just one number I could've googled if they'd made their charges clear at the outset. In fact, it would've been cheaper to phone New Zealand and ask my sister to google it.

There is nothing to recommend this company.

About a week ago I was involved in an accident on one of our UK Motorways. Being stuck out in the middle of nowhere I had no choice but to use the 118888 service to call the Police, the RAC and my Insurers using my mobile telephone. All a necessity but when my mobile telephone service provider sent me my bill to say I was shocked at what I was charged for making these calls would be a gross understatement, just over £64 according to my mobile telephone bill. I am at a complete loss as to understand how 118888 can get away with making such charges? However, 118888 be aware I will never again use your service.

£6 charge asking for a local number to be sent as a text. Rude operator. Never, ever again.

How do these people sleep at night?

Just been charged £60.62 for an 18 minute call to 118 888! I will NEVER use this service again - it's easily the worst value telephone directory in the UK!

I feel that I have been taken for a ride at no time was the cost of the call raised beware??

One of my users placed a call to directory and must have allowed them to connect him 12 mins £36.57. There are no warnings of the exorbitant fees that this company charges. Worst of all my user has premium number barred. Apparently they have landline numbers to work round this restriction so they are fully aware of what they are doing. If you search on google from a mobile it can return numbers which access the premium service which are not premium tagged hence allowing users the ability to inadvertently hit their service. These rates are shocking and EE claim that is the only way the users phone may have accessed their services!

I phoned this from my mobile and asked not to be connected. I got no text detailing the number and was charged £4.17 for the privilege. This is unacceptable.
