Gaard.io

The level of communication provided was outstanding. They kept me informed at every step of the process, ensuring transparency and clarity. Any questions or concerns I had were immediately addressed, giving me peace of mind during what could have been a stressful experience. Now I have a refund after a successful recovery, I recommend them.

Buyer Beware !

There is a charity sham on Paypal's dodgy website that deducts money from your bank and sends it to the PayPal charity.

They never reply to emails so dodgy alright.

They don’t give your money back either, surely I decide if. I want to donate so why put me through hell to get my money back I never donated.

It is scummy sham and needs to stop.

Class action needs to be taken. Report to FOS and lodge a claim in court it’s the only way to bring PayPal down.

They can’t just take money direct from your payment source to donate without your permission. WT

Shame on you despicable people.

The disputes team are thick as pig manure and just turn a blind eye.

Boycott PayPal, report them. Far and wide , FCA, FOS and here

I Lost A Lot Of Money That I Was Supposed To Spend My Daught

Paypal Is A White Elephant Now

An irrelevant organisation now that Ebay pays you direct for goods sold on its site. I haven’t been able to log in to my Paypal account for nearly a year as it said the password was wrong and I didn’t have enough information to satisfy the security concerns. Staff at the call centre were unhelpful and stuck to their textbook procedure asking for the last four digits of my card. I have three of these the most likely one I used on the site is one I no longer have. Hopeful they will close the account down since it is not being used. There is no money in it anyway so I won’t have to worry about the admin fee.

Make sure you remove your details card and bank from their platform before you close it down.

Paypal's Disgraceful Treatment Of Merchants: A Nightmare!

PayPal is notorious for holding funds hostage under the pretense of "protecting purchasers," but let’s call it what it is: an abuse of power. They arbitrarily decide when and how you can access your own money, leaving businesses stranded and cash-strapped. Running a business becomes impossible when PayPal plays gatekeeper, releasing funds at a snail's pace only when it suits them.

Their so-called customer service? A complete joke. You’re bounced around from one clueless representative to another in an endless loop that never resolves anything. They dodge complaints like it’s an Olympic sport—no proper ticketing system, no direct email, and no phone number to escalate issues. Instead, you’re left navigating through a maze of useless links that lead to nowhere.

My advice: ditch PayPal. They treat merchants with complete disregard and unethical behavior that can cripple your business. If you want to save yourself from the nightmare that is PayPal, remove them as a payment option now. Save yourself the frustration, and take your business elsewhere.

Buyer Protection

Paypal buyer protection it's a joke, bought samsung tablet from ebay brand new. Within 40 days gets message this tablet will lock in 72 hours due to not being traded in. I tried to contact seller nothing, I rang Ebay and said 30 days had past, told to contact Paypal.

I filed a claim with paypal sending pics and documenting what happen, even said the seller has done this before on his feedback. Well would you believe it paypal have sided with the seller how I don't know. I will never use paypal ever again.

Paypal Has Changed Again, And For The Worse

Paypal's appearance and functionality has changed again and this time it is for the worse. It is nowhere near as easy to find what you want and how to do it.

I simply do not understand the obsession for changing something that works. Over the years I have used Paypal less and less as they have progressively made it more fussy and less useable but that, I guess, is their loss.

Paypal Are Not To Be Trusted. Ask Yourself Why The

PayPal are not to be trusted. Ask yourself why they removed themselves out of UK jurisdiction to trade from Luxembourg? The answer is their strategy is they take in an instant but are loath to pass on what is owed to customers; they can take weeks or months to settle what's owed, sometimes they take your money permanently; don't take my word for it - it's all out their on the WWW - pages and pages of complaints about this very dodgy outfit.

There is a regulator ECCNET that can pull them up when they step out of line . Also FOS but FOS aren’t the best they do compromise customers rights

Zero Payment Protection. Unsafe Method Of Payment.

Their claim that using Paypal is a safe trusted way to pay is a joke. Purchased an item on Ebay that was faulty. Because it was from China and took so long to arrive, it had gone past Ebay's so called seller protection scheme. They said claim through PayPal (who it turns out work hand in glove with Ebay. Opened a case with Pay pal, waited... no communication at all. They closed the case without any notification.. just marked closed in sellers favour. THERE IS NO PROTECTION WITH PAYPAL. A complete waste of money. Account being closed. Safer with Amazon and a visa card.

Avoid Like A Plague! They Are Holding The Funds Wi

Avoid like a plague! They are holding the funds without any sensible reason and can't even give explanation why - they are holding the funds for DELIVERED order and charging absolutely scandalous fees !!!!! Don't use this company ever - I would rather do not sell items than go via Paypal.

Parkermoore

I am wondering if PayPal would be useful for me - my sports club is small and we do not have credit or debit card facilities. We run 4 competitions each year and it would help to receive the entry fees by paypal - is this possible?

unclepops999

would not suggest Paypal, they have habit of suspending accounts and then you have a major problem getting your money, also you are not protected in the UK by our authorities.

For your limited use, better off getting a Virgin pre paid mastercard/visa, you get an online account. Your entrants can pay by going into a retailer that does paypoint, buying a 360money voucher and you can enter the code number online and the money is yours immediately. You can then withdraw from an ATM whenever you want, very simple and its safe because its VIRGIN MONEY
