It started ejecting all paper once turned on to print anything as well as eats paper and shreds it up when re loaded.
I purchased this printer after having the exact same thing happen to my previous print which was an Epson CX 5400.
The exact same problem happened to me with two other identical printers! I am very disappointed because I only got to change the ink in the latest one one time before it stops working.
Very disapointed i paid $179.99 and $199.99 for them each and neither one will work. I am sorry I ever wasted my money on these 2 all in one printers.

A Very Aggravating, Irritating And Frustrating Pie
A very aggravating, irritating and frustrating piece of equipment. Cost per page must be very high because I usually gave up and could get very few printing tasks completed.

Having Spent £70 + A Fortune In Ink The Blac
Having spent £70 + a fortune in ink the black ink nozzle on my Epson Stylus C64 printer seems terminally blocked. It does not get used daily but does get used fairly often and after only a year I'm not happy. I may try to buy a cleaning kit. But this is more money and the utility head cleaner uses loads of ink and seems ineffective. The cartridges cost a fortune and I don't see why Epson chip them except to get more money out of me. I can buy a colour laser printer now for under £200 and although that may seem a lot to pay the rate I'm going through ink cartridges, I wish I'd just done it instead of mucking about with this C64.

It Seems All Epson Inkjet Printers Have The Same P
It seems all Epson Inkjet printers have the same problem. When you change a ink cartidge with their brand ink cartidge, and do not change it immediarely, it does not print. I have purchased my last EPSON product and will recommend to my customers that they look for another brand. I called Epson and requested to speak to their customer satisfaction department in California. I was informed they do not talk to the public, that it was the support complaint line's job to stop any calls to their office. This says a lot about what Epson thinks about customer satisfaction.

The Epson Stylus C64 Printer Has A Reasonable Buil
The Epson Stylus C64 printer has a reasonable build quality, and it prints quite quickly and quietly.
The running costs are only reasonable when using inexpensive, compatible manufactured ink-tank cartridges. Therefore, Epson's 'Durabrite' long-lasting inks are far too expensive for most users.
The printer needs to be used frequently, both for black & white and colour print output, otherwise the fixed print heads (black and colours) dry out and stop printing.
A typical Epson printer - the ink-tank cartridges are frequently subjected to recharging cycles at any time the printer is switched on, therefore, ink is used (both black and colour inks) whether you are actually printing or not. Consequently, it is better to keep the printer switched off until it is actually needed.
Ink-tank cartridges (Epson or compatible) are 'chipped' and have to be discarded when empty.
Good photo-quality prints depend upon using Epson original inks and a good quality photo paper, therefore, it is expensive to run for photo printing.
One big disadvantage of this printer when compared with earlier models of Epson printers, is the presence of permanent print heads (black and three colours). The replacement ink cartridges are simply ink-tanks without any print head. Consequently, this printer has a finite lifespan, dependent on frequency of use.
There is nothing about this printer that makes it stand out from others.

The Epson Stylus C64 is a bad printer. I print a page and it prints blank. I install a new ink cartridge and it tells me it is half empty. I am not happy at all with this printer.
