Absolutely Useless, Avoid Ordering On Line.
Big order for garden stuff. Delivery date and time given, but it never arrived and on my account it told me to contact customer service. Did that the following morning, but first woman at customer service told me she was terminating the call, no explanation, I had hardly had time to say a word. Phoned again but the guy could offer no explanation what the problem was, but he said he would cancel the order and issue a refund. Get a contact from another person asking for more info so he could look into it, but nothing, so chased again. Then told that the order was cancelled but that the refund failed. Promised the refund would be made and I would be advised. Nothing! Get another e mail from him asking if I had had my delivery!!! Absolutely useless! Still nothing, how hard is it to make a refund! It was their fault, no explanation, no refund. Still chasing. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ON LINE, IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT WILL JUST GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
Faulty Door Delivered... Poor Customer Service
Faulty door delivered (very obvious manufacturing faults). Customer service advised it would be a 48 hour turn around on replacement. That sounded fair enough. However it’s actually taking SIX days to replace the door (which was in stock) - delaying ongoing work by a week. Had I ordered the same model door online, Wickes promises next day delivery. Why should it take 6 days for your customer service to deliver the same product? If you sell your customer faulty goods, replacement should be done quickly and efficiently - not take the better part of a week. Incredibly poor customer service compared to competitors.

Horrible Experience
I have had the most horrible experience of the 3 bathrooms I had freshly installed in my home- I have to say the designer in the store was polite and good, however our nightmare started soon after this stage.
The installer supplied was a Mathew Baker installation company from Northallerton. This guy is incredibly rude, incompetent, racist and dismissive. The work was done in a very incompetent manner which left several problems for us to deal with and with NO support from this guy. On top of this Wickes have taken NO steps to remove him from their ' approved installer status' which is nothing but corrupted boys network helping each others and supporting each others mess.
For the past 6 months I have been fighting for my right and yet it is to get resolved! I have not only wasted my £20000 on these incompetent people, but also have received a constant ridicule and racist attitude from these people to make us feel unwanted and troublesome.
I wish I had NEVER gone to Wickes and their horrible installers and have taken some reputed company.
This whole experience has given us sleepless nights for past 6 months and I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone in my life!! I wish I could rate these guys a 0, but they have not made this on deliberate reason.

Worst Possible Customer Care
Do not be tempted to buy anything from Wickes for installation by them. The installation took over a month and the shower until is not even working at all. I paid top money for this project and the shop promised us the earth on the event that things are not right. Not the case. Would not respond to the installer or to me via phone calls or emails. This is an appalling state of affairs and not worth anyone having to go through this. Avoid at all cost.

Complete Nightmare
My review has to do more with Wickes in general. The staff in store are lovely and really know their stuff. However, our experience with Wickes as a whole has been completely shocking. Almost 3 years ago we had our bathroom redone and decided to use Wickes for supply and install as thought this would be the least hassle route. However, this was a HUGE mistake. Firstly, the installer completely messed up the initial install. We left him for a day and came back to find out that he had full tiled rather than half tiled, he installed the showerhead on the wrong side, leaky tap and a whole host of other issues. Took us over a year to get those issues sorted (and we ended up just accepting the tiling as it was). We thought things we sorted, then noticed that some wallpaper in the room adjoining the bathroom was starting to peel. On inspection, we discovered significant damp and mould developing due to the shower leaking. We chased for months for them to come out and resolve. They did come out and stated that they had resolved the issues and it did seem better for a while. However, last autumn we were getting flooring replaced in the rooms adjoining the bathroom and, on taking the current floor up, discovered the entire skirting board was rotten and half the plasterboard. Turns out the leaks weren't all fixed and there has been a slow leak for months behind the wall. We got send out replacement items (as they determined they needed to replace the shower (turned out the original installer hadn't put proper supports under the shower and the flex in the tray was causing small, unnoticeable gaps in the seals), but these arrived well before Christmas and we are still waiting for an installer (towards the end of April). We have been given provisional dates but these never pan out. This was our only shower in the house. Last autumn, because of the issues, we paid over £3k to get our small toilet redone to fit a little shower. This expenditure was solely down to the issues in the main bathroom. I'm now desperate to have the issues resolved but am at my wits ends as to what to do. :-( We've been living without a main shower and with a gaping hole in the wall in the adjoining room.
As another negative to Wickes. We needed our kitchen redoing last summer and, while we would never use Wickes again for install, we liked some of their kitchen units and decided to purchase and get our own installer to put them in. The units are lovely, but the process of getting the right items delivered was horrific. Half the items missing on first delivery, then several incorrect items delivered. Took so much back and forth to eventually get the correct items. How hard can it be to deliver what is on a clear inventory of items?!?!? To add to this, Wickes refused to collect many of the incorrect items - mainly really long kickboards. So now we are left with the cost of disposing of these?!? This is simply not right. I don't understand how such a company can be so completely shocking at customer service, delivery, etc., in what they do as a business!!!!!

Wickes Product Quality Disgusting
First I said one thing: I have laminate in my whole house, good laminate, installed less than 2 years ago and it is still in perfect conditions, no holes at all. We are a family of 5 and everything is falling on the floor in the house but never a problem with the laminate. The laminate in the house is NOT from wickes!!
I bought instead a laminate from Wickes for my conversion garage. I wanted some light color and it was the only options even not so cheaper. A builder installed it, not a problem (that I know!!!)
The problem started when I went there for the first time basically, after we just walked a bit of time in this laminate with shoes.
I was going to do a deep clean and I found this "lovely" imperfection in the laminate, in less than 2 weeks!!!! I mean when the builder installed it it was fine, we just WALKED in the room a couple of time and this is the result!!
They should put in the description: don't walk with shoes, don't make children walk on it, don't make anything fall on it....don't use basically!!
I complained with the customer service and the only thing that they were able to tell me (after 4 months!!!) is "this is an impact damage, we and the manufacture don't care about it". EVEN, and I am said EVEN, if it is an impact damage which I really can't recall because this room is still close not in use and even without furniture, is that normal? So if a toy will fall on it I will have another hole? at the end of the summer I will have to change again the laminate!!!!
I can't stress enough, I have laminate in the rest of the house NOT Wickes brand, NEVEVE EVER THIS PROBLEM, it is a wickes issue with quality and they even do not want to admit.
They gave me a good will gesture of a refund of a box.....if you considered that at least I will have to pay again about £600 to make a new flooring in the next couple of months this is a drop in the ocean!!
Wickes products, Never again!!!

Order Not Delivered After 12 Hours Of Waiting.
Ordered a trade professional ladder on 16/03/24 from the Bolton branch. The ladder is not stored at the branch but is ordered and delivered direct to the customer. When i understood the situation I was reluctant to place the order. Once these people have your money they don't care about fulfilling their commitments.
I have a bad experience when I ordered some windows. I was told two weeks for the order to be completed. They then informed me they had to make them and they turned up seven weeks later! Back to the ladder. I received emails confirming the order and informed by the courier the ladder would be delivered Tuesday the 19th March. I booked time off work, waited for 12 hours for a delivery that never happened!
The tracking shows it's come from Bristol to Haydock and was out for delivery. i suggest it's a pack of lies. I've lost money by not working on the Tuesday and now no one will be in to take delivery for the next two weeks! I will have to go and buy another ladder from somewhere else to get the job finished and I've not received a text, email or phone call to inform me where the ladder really is. This has cost me a lot. If i'ts in store and it's what you want buy it, but if it's an order go somewhere else. No more orders from me!

6 Weeks To Fit Bathroom Estimate Fit Time 2 Weeks!
Installation started over 2 weeks late. Took 6 weeks to complete & then Wickes approved installer VS had to return to put right 5 issues found. 5 extra packs of tiles used to complete job. Installer worked half days not the full & will work ‘just on yours until completed’ as promised.
Took 2 weeks holiday to cover installation & started 2 weeks late. Had to juggle work so someone was at home for the following 6 weeks it took to complete. Wickes manager came twice to check on installer. Never asked our opinion of installation or queried time taken to carry out installation. Incorrect shower diverter installed. Informed correct one no longer available although still in Wickes catalogue. No hippo bag provided for removed bathroom until week 5. Remove bathroom blocked driveway.
Customer services not interested in time taken to complete or all the issues that had occured during that time. Gave me refund for diverter & tiles + £200. They are not interested in the poor time keeping or lack of communication. All issues backed up with photos, receipts etc.
DO NOT USE THIS WICKES! Keep your sanity & go elsewhere.

Go Elsewhere And Save Your Money And Sanity
Don't waste your money, go elsewhere for your kitchen/bathroom! Product is good but their installers and customer service are beyond dreadful. Botched the installation of our kitchen. Left with a kitchen nightmare rather than our dream. This company takes no responsibility for their mistakes. Process started 2022 and is still on going in 2024. They have NO IDEA how to deal with customers (when you can actually get to communicate with someone that is!)
Q&A
Wickes Melbourne kitchen supplied and fitted in 2014, within the past 6 months suddenly various draws and doors are not closing properly, I've been told they may have warped due to temperature change? Anyone else having these problems? What shall I do?
