Fitness First

After joining fitness first I cancelled my contact within 24 hours after feeling pressured into it 10 weeks later I still ha net had my £35 refund after sending emails and spoken to at least 8 different people I'm still no further forward I would definitely knot recommend fitness first. Please be careful

The manager is a bully and talks to members if they are school children, unless he can take your money for PT. There is a group of core members who intimidate and are passive aggressive physically.

If you like to train properly, release stress and want a environment which is safe to relax in your workout then do not go here. There seems to be a lot of sexual deviant members who use it as a nightclub to perve on the women.

People hog the weights and DO NOT WANT TO SHARE! They get aggressive if you ask. If you like posing in the mirror, training with full make up, looking at your bi-ceps in the mirror and bullying other members this is the place for you.

Fitness First are Bullies. They bully and harrass people to get memeberships. They stop at nothing.

They say tthey care about customers but they don't. Cancelling memeberships is a headache and they charge what ever fees to anyone (cancel fees for some people but won't for others).

They have a reputation of being called finance first, already have been in the media for their bad practices.

The staff are all show ponies, everyone that works for fitness first they think they are God's gift.

They can be expensive too.

I have been trying to use a promotional offer which I am bombarded with via email. After completing the details i waited for contact. I then decided to try and speak to the membership team, after 8 calls, passed from

One person to another, over an hour on the phone I am told the promotion will no longer be honoured. The whole service offered was truly disgusting. There was no interest, and no apology for wasting a morning trying to get assistance. I then spoke to DW Gyms who couldn't help enough. I would highly recommend you ignore Fitness First and go to an organisation who has respect and professionalism.

SHAME ON FITNESS FIRST.

Tried to cancel my membership, they told me I had to pay another month, even though my 12 month contract was up. Tried to complain this was unfair, met by uncaring jobsworths in Customer Services. Now they've added another £25 and passed it to debt collection. The equipment is tired and old and rarely tidied up, spent as much time looking for equipment as using it. Virgin is SO much nicer...

The staff at this gym are rude and unfriendly. They do not care about their customers. It is an intimidating place to train. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. The customer service is terrible!!!!

I would never join this again!! Absolutely not happy with customer care,not helpful at all just because I wanted to cancell membership due to medical reasons.They made me feel like I just make things up,hadn't been understanding at all..I can't wait to get rid of them and would never recommend this to anyone!

To summarize the beautiful experience:

Reception by manager was ok against what I heard from other reviews.no credit card used (maybe that was the magic 'Chess Move')only used cash card.

Equipment state of the Art (if not occupied by overbooking with memberships at certain times of a Day).

Second Visit after receiving my Code Card (5 months one not bearing any Photo ID). Present Card to the reception Lady. Looking at her PC she finger pointed at me...hi,hi,he,he (laughing at me with pointed Finger so everyone in the Line could watch),is this you??.. I had no view to the PC Screen,maybe they placed any joke Picture in the Place Holder of the Client's Photo. Hello Sir,good Day or such my A@@..did not occur to her.

Mindset of an 8 year old Child with Zero Training or Job Briefings.I maturely tried to eat it pretending not being touched by all that.Did not want to ruin my workout.

Steam Bath: very good until a guy stood up went to the wall and started to make movements under his towel wrapped loose around his hips. People started to leave and I realized..'this Pervert masturbated!!'..joined the Club of leaving people on the double,unbelievable!

Workout:

Managed to get hold of a free Machine and started my 5x5 set Routine with Rests between of the pretty standard 1 mins. A PT with his customer on another machine in Front approached me after 2 sets when I will be finished so he can use it with his Client. Wooophs,what a professionalism,he should not ask that to a Customer as a Staff Member,its rude to give pressure on an Exercising Customer to get him off a machine (I mean I was not sitting there having an Half Hour Phone Call or such...).

between Customer maybe tolerable but not by a staff of FF. I gave him they answer that I will finish and did so. Since this that PT was harassing me with making insulting Face gestures on other visits and passed my Name to his Gang which were yelling it when I was around. Even Cell Phone Numbers were passed. My Term was about to finish anyway and I not go down to this level fighting Babies and there psycho issues. so I simply did not renew,bye bye one customer less,good work,I was thinking smiling about them.

Highly recommend not to go there. These are no Sports People believe me work-out in proper Gyms.

All the trainers are really fat, not fit at all. they are rude un helpful.

Don't waste ur money.
