SecureHealth is wholly owned by AXA.
The quality of the management team is extremely poor.
The branding is tepid and its website uninspiring.
The big problems with SecureHealth are as follows:
1. It uses pushy “cold calling” tactics to get their self-employed Consultants often poorly qualified appointments
2. It only offers AXA private healthcare products - not BUPA, Aviva, Vitality Health or April etc
3. It offers poor annual review service with the only choice being AXA
Overall, I would suugest you use a proper no fee independent advice broker who will be able offfer a comprehensive choice of health insurance companies rather than just one like SecureHealth
No fee independent advice is recommended by Which? Magazine.
I worked for SecureHealth for a while and am now an independent broker. I agree with you completely about independent advice find offering a whole of market solution to be a much fairer way of doing business.

Liars, Cheats, Smoke & Mirrors
Been told you'll earn a fortune selling PMI for a big company affiliated to AXA? So have many, many before you. Why are they no longer there?
thatll be because you'll earn £10k per year tops - and that's before you pay your own taxes & expenses.
All they do is constantly recruit a fresh stream of gullible fools to work for no basic pay & no expenses.
Every policy you sell is free money for them at zero overhead cost.
They'll keep telling you it will get better, etc, etc, but it doesn't.
You won't get any big leads - they all go to other affiliate AXA business like Health Insurance Group, AXA Direct, etc. You'll be driving long distances to sell individual policies with very low commission value.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the AXA products you'll be selling are the most expensive in the market. So after driving for hours and selling hard, you then end up quoting up to twice as much as alternative providers Vitality & Aviva. Go online, request online quotes from AXA, Aviva & Vitality. You'll soon see the difference in price - you can rest assured your leads will be checking - so you won't be closing too many deals.
I could go on - inadequate training, poor quality support/management, deductions from commissions - but I'm sure your getting the drift now.
Also, just as if that isn't enough, should you actually get to the point of being offered a contract - pay close attention to the terms regards you resigning - they'll be keeping your last two months commission, just as a final FY!

Exploitative Company
Disreputable I had the misfortune to work for this company elling their mediocre health insurance.
They have little intention of fulfilling their obligations and do what they can to avoid honouring claims.
Any way they can cheat the sales force they will do.
No training is provided and they survive on a constant turnover of mugs who are offered false promises.
Avoid this firm at all costs.

Very Rude Customer Service
I was VERY disappointed in the service from your customer service department, or at least to whom ever the extremely RUDE gentleman was that I was ATTEMPTING to talk to... I have been getting calls from this number for the past 2-3 days or so (562) 293-3837 with NO MESSAGES LEFT. UNTIL TODAY. Which I was given this number then 1 (888) 634-2584 and said that my application had be accepted for immediate approval. They said they were from Secured Health & Life. It was a lady that left the message. I didn't have any problems with her as when I called back I think she was the one that answered. She was nice and cool, and when I called the 888 she said to call back, she even knew my name and was like this is Erin Miller right? That was nice. BUT then she TRANSFERED ME TO SOME IDIOT GUY that had no manners and was totally clueless. I asked him straight up if this was in relation to my Health Net application that I sent in the other day since I had applied for insurance from Health Net and was waiting to see if my application had gone though and I was set to start up on February 1st. So I thought maybe this was them calling me back to say I was officially approved, so if this WAS WHO I THOUGHT it was since they had my application and CELL PHONE number (which is why THEY would have been CALLING ME) that he should have had all my information already. When I asked if this was Health Net, he said YES. Then continuted to ask me ALL THE QUESTIONS that would have already been on my application. I told him that I was looking for another insurance because my current one kept raising the prices on me although I RARELY EVER USE it. I told him what I applied to was for a PPO for MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND VISION and was given the price of $109 when I applied… and IS THIS HEALTH NET?? IF NOT I WAS NOT INTERESTED. HE then STILL KEPT GOING and was like well I have a medical one for $114…. UM WHY WOULD I WANT THAT JUST FOR MEDICAL?? When I can get all 3 for $109. I TOLD HIM, I WASNT INTERESTED, that I WAS JUST CALLING BACK TO SEE IF THIS WAS HELTH NET!!! ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS SAY, NO MAM THIS ISNT HEALTH NET!!!! THEN WE BOTH COULD HAVE BEEN ON OUR WAYS INSTEAD OF HIM WASTING MY TIME!!!! BECAUSE HE KEPT ON RUNNING HIS MOUTH AT ME!!! HE THEN SAID THINGS LIKE WELL YOU CALLED US. WE CALL YOU. AND I WAS LIKE YEAH YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN CALLING ME AND I NEVER ANSWERED BECAUSE I DIDNT KNOW WHO IT WAS AND IF IT WAS SOMETHING IMPORTANT THAT YOUD LEAVE A MESSAGE OTHERWISE IF YOU DONT I KNOW ITS SOMEONE I DONT WANT TO TALK TO AND WHO IS PROBABLY JUST TRYING TO SELL ME SOMETHING I DONT WANT!!! WHICH I WAS RIGHT!!! THIS GUY WAS TRYING TO SELL ME A DIFFERENT INSURANCE PLAN THAT I DID NOT ASK FOR AND SAYING THAT I CALLED HIM AND SHOULD KNOW WHO I WAS TALKING TO. UMMM NO I CALLED YOU BECAUSE YOUR COMPANY CALLED ME AND FINALLY LEFT A MESSAGE AND I WAS JUST TRYING TO SEE WHO YOU WERE!!! SO INSTEAD OF BEING CIVIL AND SAYING NO, SORRY, WE ARE A DIFFERENT COMPANY, HAVE A NICE DAY!!! THIS PERSON HUNG UP ON ME!!!! REALLY?? WHY DO YOU WANT TO EMPLOY PEOPLE LIKE THIS!!! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER AND I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS TO NEVER IN THEIR LIFE DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY DUE TO THIS MANS ILL BEHAVIOR!!! YOU DONT HANG UP ON A PERSON WHEN IT IS YOU BEING DUMB AND STUPID AND CANT UNDERSTAND PLAIN ENGLISH THAT I WAS JUST TRYING TO SEE IF ALL THESE CALLS I KEPT GETTING FROM YOU FOLKS WAS IN REGAURDS TO MY RECENT APPLICATION FROM HEALTH NET!!! IT OBVIOUSLY WASNT!!!

I Work With Sh&l It Has To Be One Of The Best Medi
I work with SH&L It has to be one of the best medical places I have EVER worked at. People are very caring and they care about the customers. We are starting to try and get the computers more up to date because sometimes we call people over and over without really knowing it. but all in all i love this company its amazing and they do truley care about the customers! heck if they think your insurance is better then theres they will tell you to keep with it. ALSO! They are paying to send me back to school!

As Long As You Follow Their Claims Process To The
As long as you follow their claims process to the letter, Secure Health aren't a bad company. You may not be able to see the exact private doctor or consultant that you want but as long as you use a doctor that they recommend, which I did the claim went fine. He was not my first choice consultant as they said they wouldn't meet the fees, but they found me someone else who would work within their limits at the same hospital and he was a pleasure to deal with. I get my healthcare through the company I work for and didn't notice any increase the following year. Reading some of the reviews on this site I realise how disappointing health insurance firms seem to be at point of claim, I am pleased that Secure Health dealt with my claim in a professional and pleasant manner.

Secure Health Have A Very Comprehensive Range. Af
Secure Health have a very comprehensive range. After a consultation with one of their helpful sales people, I chose the Care plan, which two years later has paid in full for the removal of my four wisdom teeth with the minimum of fuss. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. Salespeople were a pleasure to deal with.
