Massively disappointing experience for using the online store for the first time. Consequently due to your inadequacy to deliver a service that I paid for, I will now have to ship the products to my wife at great expense, instead of in my suitcase. No response from emails I have sent after being told to escalate the matter when I rang this morning, and an offer to refund the delivery charge was both patronising and inadequate. Looks like you have lost a new customer #TheBodyShopDontCareAboutCustmers #PoorCustomerService

Great Products For Various Skin Concerns

I have loved the body shop for a long time, and I feel like they keep getting better. They have added a bunch of new lines which have been great. There are always a couple of no-go's, but I really love the tea tree line, and their body butters. Also, they are always having specials, so they definitely offer a lot of savings!

Love Their Stuff

I love their products, and especially during sales when you can purchase 3 items and get 3 items free. It really lets you try out new items. I especially love their body oils, as well as their tea tree collection. I deducted one star, however, because I think their sizes could be a little bit bigger sometimes, such as with the body oils.

Customer Services Are Dreadful

I have been trying to order White Musk Body Butter during the 40% discount sale. I tried several times via your website but the discount was not applied. On 29th October, I emailed your customer services.Two days later I received a response suggesting I read the Terms and Conditions and asking which promotion code I had applied. I responded straight away. I have received no response.

Today is final day of sale so I decided to try once more. Again no discount applied so I rang customer services. After a lot of holding and discussions with colleagues I was told that there was a problem with ordering this item and that I should pay the normal price and apply for the discount via email. I cannot believe that a company like Bodyshop can possibly treat customers in this way. I love your products but your customer services need to improve dramatically. I am very disappointed.

No Longer A Loyal Customer!

I am very disappointed in the Body Shop Customer Service. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I was making a purchase on line and the total included a $10 birthday discount and a free jumbo body wash plus my 10% member discount. When I entered my debit cart info, the discounts all disappeared and I was charged $10 plus more. I immediately called BS customer service and was told I could not cancel the order. Therefore, I called my bank and while on the phone with my bank I called BS back. The bank rep asked BS representative for the transaction authorization number which he could use to cancel the order with my bank. The rep was rude and would not give this information to the bank rep.

Now my bank account has been charged for the order at more than I was willing to pay. I have to receive the order by UPS and return it to the store for a discount. What a major inconvenience!! I will never shop Body Shop again! No good customer service. While I loved the products, the prices are higher and not worth the non-customer appreciation. Good bye Body Shop! You have lost a loyal customer!

I have had a similar experience. Have several times tried to order items in the 40% sale only to find that I am charged the normal price and the discount not applied. A very slow (3-5 days) response to emails to customer support. Today, the final day of the sale, I rang customer support, was on phone for some time while they tried to sort out issue. Eventually advised that there seems to be a problem and was advised to pay normal price and send email asking for discount!!!! Is this any way for a company as large as Bodyshop to treat customers.

Frustrating Online Ordering Experience

I had a really annoying experience with ordering their products off of their website. I love their products I truly do but there isn't a store near me. After this experience of getting someone else's package, having to wait 3 weeks in total for mine, plus having to worry about returning the wrong package I originally received.. Defiantly deters me from ordering from the site again. The customer service representatives were both very nice but did not offer me anything for my frustrations.

Very Disappointed

Ordered online in plenty of time for Xmas delivery but after phone call after phone call to customer services and DPD their chosen courier I was finally told the parcel was lost and they couldn't guarantee delivery of another before Xmas. Won't shop there again.

Love This Place!

I have to say I really love this store. I am a big fan of their makeup, tea tree line of products (great for acne!), and body oils (really great for moisturizing after the shower!). I have very sensitive skin, and have never had a problem with irritation or allergies. Always have some great specials/sales as well.
