Avoid This Company

Avoid this company. We purchased a dishwasher basket on 10th October and haven't recieved it. They said it was sent but refused to provide a tracking number. I've been emailing for several weeks asking them to confirm if they'll be resending or refunding the order, but they have now ignored emails and calls for three weeks. If this cannot be resolved we will shortly be escalating this consumer complaint further. We would appreciate if the interspares customer service team can get in touch ASAP to avoid this

Zero Communication

Ordered an oven door seal but never received an order confirmation email as one normally receives after any online order. Over a week later and the product never arroved. Emailed them explaining all of this then received a reply asking ME for the order number, which of course I didn't have. Then nothing more for a few days. After I emailed them again they reoplied to say the product was due back in stock soon. What does that mean? No estimated date or time or anything. So they are happy to take my money despite a product not being in stock. Their website doesn't state that the product isn't in stock. If it had I would have used another company. Still waiting for the product.

Awful Company Stay Clear

Awful company, STAY CLEAR DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I have rung them 15 times today and only once have they picked up. I rang 10 times yesterday and no one picked up even left a message on their answering machine.

I ordered a week ago a oven handle. No sign of it. Chap who picked up today stated he would get back to me, he has not, could not help whilst chatting, how hard can it be, where is my item I paid for? I have emailed as well three days ago, no reply. Would appear they are either in dire straits or have an awful customer focus. If anyone else can get through please tell me how. Hopefully someone from the company reads this and responds, won’t hold my breath. Refund my money.

Nightmare Experience

I ordered some fridge/freezer seals costing approx £150. According to Interspares website they were correct for the make and model. When they arrived they were not correct. I returned them in accordance with their returns procedure. Obtaining the refund was a nightmare. They never answered the phone, I left numerous answerphone messages which they never returned. I sent emails which were not answered. Eventually I referred it to the ombudsman and would you believe it a refund was eventually received. It was 5.56% less than I paid without explanation for the reduction. I am a reasonable private individual who purchased these seals in good faith. Their after sales service is none existent. I do NOT recommend you use this company however desperate you are.

Took £153 - No Part In 6-weeks. No Replies To Email/phone

I purchased a dishwasher part from inter-spares.co.uk over 6-weeks ago - still not received. But worse still, they don't respond to emails, their contact form, or by telephone.

From the other reviews I've read elsewhere, I suspect I'm now in for a lengthy period of trying to get my £153 returned!

Ice Maker Part Arrived Dirty And Looks Used

ICE MAKER part arrived DIRTY and looks used

Fridge iCE MAKER part tooks 10 days to arrive, OK maybe Royal Fail had something to do with this. However the part arrived UNWRAPPED & DIRTY! looks as if it had been used!

Complained and a week later still no response.

There are many good suppliers out there e.g. Cattermole Electrical so why bother with such a poor supplier. Good business is easy why do so many make it difficult?

Ordered 3 items in November and returned one on 15 November after completing online returns for. Still awaiting refund, no response to any of my e-mails sent chasing, appalling and will never use again.

Dismal.

Ordered small part in stock - 1st class Royal Mail could have delivered in 24 hours.

Instead I paid £5 delivery charge and still waiting 5 days later.

Use Customers As A Temporary Loan Service

Item shown 'in stock' was not available- eventually. They were happy to take my money and do nothing until I told them to supply the goods or give me a refund.

I should have listened to my instincts which were telling me that it was unlikely they would have the item in stock... proceed with caution. Which is why I used a credit card through Paypal. Buyer protection at its maximum- or should be.

I have read reviews where people struggled to get a refund very quickly through Inter-spares though mine came through in an acceptable time.

Still, I could have done without the messing about. It means I missed out buying a second hand item on a certain auction website and as the item I wanted is about as rare as rocking horse.. err droppings, it's unlikely to appear again.

Drat and double drat!

Old, Much Loved Smeg Cooker!

Contacted Inter-Spares, staff member quickly identified our particular model. The spare we needed was with us the following week at a very reasonable price (including postage). I would definitely use them again.
