"bought" reg as a gift on the Saturday, by Tuesday hadn't heard anything so I chased. Sent me response saying they'd contact the seller the next day. Why didn't they contact them immediately? Surely this should be an automated process?

Wednesday arrives and I receive an email saying the seller is no longer selling the reg.

So now they have all my personal details, my credit card and I have no reg.

At the point of check out it should be very clear that they are a broker and that the reg may not be available for purchase.

They couldn't care less about their service - Make you pay for things they don't even provide then refuse to refund you!! Even after paying over £300 upfront!

Please avoid them and go elsewhere!

Rude staff directors are too good to give you a call sale easy to contact after sale are not won’t give me a refund avoid avoid avoid. I’m stuck with a reg I have no need for !!!! Extremely angry

I have had nothing but issues with newref.co.uk regarding getting my plates as I was not told that certain details needed sending vie post and they don't accept emails for the required docs. Then once I rang twice they said they couldn't accept a letter from my local council confirming my address. As I have bought private reg's before I would recommend using regtranfers instead as it's fast and they have more helpful staff unlike newreg.co.uk.

I will never shop with this company again and would advise if you like being treated with respect and like a quick service to avoid this company.

I would strongly advise anyone to speak to the DVLA first before contacting this company.

This company charges extortionate fees for services that have recently become free of charge from the DVLA. Yes administration charges from such a company is acceptable but £80 charge for getting NewReg to ask the DVLA for a copy of the most recent certificate of entitlement? Utter joke.

Do not use this company - they are there to simply take your money.

This is the first time I have bought a number plate and I decided to buy from NewReg.com as their website was easy to use and understand.

Ordered a number plate for my daughters 21st , got sent an e mail to tell me they would be in touch . 3 weeks later when I eventually got through to them they told me the plate had been sold to someone else ????? Blamed it on someone they had just sacked as he wasn't doing his job properly , very sorry Yadah Yadah yada usual excuses and guff , don't even bother with this company
