Absolutely Dreadful Store

The Ossett store has really terrible customer service. Many of the staff are unhelpful and some are downright rude and ignorant.

The shelves are poorly stocked and the freezers often empty and awaiting repair.

They also charge top prices. The baskets and trollies do not appear to be cleaned and the checkout belts are often dirty.

I will avoid this store in future.

Just a few of the staff are very pleasant and helpful. I feel very sorry for them working at this place!

Very Bad Service.

My online delivery order didn't arrive this afternoon, i said on the delivery note what door bell to press,i wasn't impressed, i won't be ordering online from the co op again, they came twice over xmas but they didn't even ring my doorbell this afternoon,i was very disappointed and very shocked my doorbell didn't ring, my doorbell always rings when i order from Certain other onlime supermarkets and the delivery men always show up, i need reliable delivery drivers, the co op aren't very reliable with home deliveries, i wish i had known it was an unreliable delivery service.

Disgraceful

The Birmingham Newhall Square branch has shocking standards of staff training and customer service.

Myself and my partner have been verbally assaulted by the security guard on several occasions, prompting me to log a formal complaint and subject access request.

The management team is extremely dissapointing and has been ongoing all year!

No one should be spoken to or treated with such contempt especially as a paying customer!

I also had to flag to them that their staff were not putting through card payments properly so I advise anyone that uses this store to keep and check thoroughly their receipts.

Worst Store Ever!

Went to the Halesowen store this evening and was not at all pleased with the customer service. The security guard was breaking the social distancing while stood at the door where people have to walk in and out. Customers are then told not to worry about the social distancing. Which I was under the impressionwe was supposed to be doing with all key workers as they expect us to do with them. He then refused for a long period of time to give his security badge number causing a scene and belittling a customer smiling. I will definatly be taking my custom else where in future.

Horrible Experience

Review for Co operative store in Slough Brtiwel ( longfur long drive )

Regular customer to this store , but recently this store management has gone worst , As per my opinion manager of the store has got no manners how to speak to customer, she does not know how to deal with complains ( no people skills at all ) . Reason for this feedback is recently I was not only Spoken Rudely but was also physically abused by security guard just because by mistake I picked up to 2 box of eggs instead of one allowed due covid19 rationing , As a customer and in interest of other community members I was fully complying with store rules even then I was sweared at ( gandoo) in Hindi language English meaning AxxHxxE by security guard , he was physical with me and when spoke to manager no action was taken , did ask her to look into CCTV footage but she was completely reluctant to listen to my side of story . Complain of this incident was raised to coop , but I doubt any investigation or actions will be taken against member of staff involved in this incident.

Produce From Israel At The Co-op

After a hurried visit to the Gloucester Rd branch due to the virus alert I found out that the avocadoes I had purchased came from Israel. I had previously assumed that the Co-Op had a policy in this respect and I'd always shopped confidently.

It is not advisable in the present circumstances to go back to the branch and ask for a refund, hence I've had to undertake the financial cost of this transaction.

It is absolutely essential that our suppliers abide by strict humanitarian rules when purchasing from suppliers.

Rudeness And Lack Of Empathy

Just been to this Coop of which ive been a customer since it opended..While i understand we are a country in crisis good manners cost nothing..To those that have been stock pilling. You have put someone like myself and the two vulnerable adults i look after with Autism at risk..Today i couldn't even get toilet roll or more than 2 pasta mixes for 3 people. The more places i have to go to get the basics the more i am at risk of picking this virus up due to my own compromised illness and disability I'm trying to avoid doing that because who will look after those vulnerable adults if i became ill. it's first come 1st serverd were the managers words when i asked about stock coming in.I have not stocked pilled once nore would i..then i get to the till in tears because there is hardly any food. The lady behind the till was quite rude please stop stock pilling..i can't get shopping on line and when i do go out i can't get what we need..In times like these we are measured by what we do.I have been spoken to today as if i was a stranger at the co-op and in fact shopped there for over 20yrs and not because the co-op didn't have the items in i understand that..Thats not my reason for writting this reviwe its the rudeness.Reason for the one star curtness and rudeness are something I've never experienced at the co-op but today i have.In times like these we are measured for what we do

I ordered £42 pounds worth of items on 18th Wednesday to be delivered today between 1 and 2 pm order number 662475.

Got a text today @ 1 pm stating that delivery guy was on his way and was 12 minutes away from my home with a image of a bike. I am not at all happy with this as your web site is still in operation & people are being duped. We are self isolating as my wife had chemotherapy on Monday for ovarian cancer. A neighbour who is also self isolating because of her age got us the shopping, you have taken my money knowing you cannot fulfill the order. I will be getting in touch with radio Merseyside about this.

Thank you

Very Strange

Very disappointed with the bakery products. When I go in to buy several to take into work for my work mates I am told that the staff haven't put them in the oven??!!! They never have any and always make different excuses (sometimes too busy and other times say they couldn't be bothered!)Days go by and the so called bakery shelves are empty. I go to Aldi now.

Also there is a member of staff in there who asked me personal questions about my marital status at the counter (when there was a full queue of people listening and laughing ! eek - very embarrassing.

Co-op Lyneham, Wiltshire

I walked into the Co-op Lyneham, Wiltshire store in a good mood on a Thursday morning, just wanting to pick up a few things and heard a woman shouting at the tills. Medium blonde hair in a long bob, in her 60s. She was shouting something about how somebody told her that I said she talks loud at the till, and if I don't like it then I can shop somewhere else. I don't know if she mixed me up with somebody else who said that, as she was certainly shouting at the tills that time. I shouldn't have to walk into a store and be shouted at like that.

I wrote a letter to complain to the manager, and had no response. I then wrote a review on their Facebook page, but they deleted their facebook page.

I tried complaining to head office, and still no apology.

Then I went in the store and told her I don't know who she thinks she is talking to me like that, but I complained to head office, then some young man with blonde hair who claimed he was the manager tried to twist it to about me. I don't know what kind of store that is, where they don't care if staff are rude to customers

Co-op Witney High Street Worst Food Shopping Experience Ever

I live close to this particular store and would like to use it more often. It is unfortunately the most awful food shop in town. Too often standard check outs are closed and only tobacco kiosk and self checkouts available. Staff have been positively rude to me when asked about this situation. On one inclement winter day I was told I was lucky the store was open. The general atmosphere is one of apathy and poor management. How is it that a store like this is not improved when the Co-op has such fantastic ones such as the one in Chipping Norton. My feeling is shared by many other people in the town.

You tell lies Jefftom46, as Ammanford is the worst shop ever. We see this as we loom at the character of Michelle. Raised with 13 siblings we see that she has AWFUL customer service. She throws two pence coins at the children that pass and often will glare at you if you buy a bag for life (Trump supporter) so please DO NOT complain as the beast Michelle lurks in Ammanford
