Don’t Process Returns!
Awful customer service - not contactable at all. Well over a week just to dispatch my order - now it’s been weeks since I sent my returns and haven’t even had confirmation of receipt. Sent email enquiries and got the same automated reply other reviewers have complained about - ‘high volume of emails’… yada yada. They still manage to bombard me with spam emails at least once a day though!
I used to order from evans all the time but the service levels have clearly dropped drastically.
UPDATE - several more weeks have passed now, still no reply to my emails and they still haven’t processed my return items - have had to claim my money back through the credit card company.
Sham company - will never, ever order from them again.
Appalling Customer Service
It’s been almost two months and still no refund, I have sent every piece of information pertaining to the return I made in early November. I have even had a customer service person ring and apologise and assure me it was over and that I would not have to keep sending all the details of the return but no the very next day yet another request and despite everything I still have no refund and after sending an honest email asking why on earth this is still going on, guess what no reply so now because I have finally gotten fed up and been a little angry with them they are refusing to reply, how childish! It was their fault and yet I am owed £20 I will never buy from them again and will keep fighting for my refund.

Thereis no address or phone number on delivery note. They tell you to print off a returns label. I don't have a printer!

I placed an order a week ago today for click and collect. I have received no communications at all about my order. I have had to chase them up and outfit where I had requested my order to be delivered. I had ordered to gift my sister this weekend. I called and got informed my order is been delayed and will be contacted . I am so disappointed with their service
3 Months And Still Waiting For Refund
I placed an online order on 10th February. Most of the order didn't arrive. In April I received an email saying they couldn't fulfil the rest of the order and I would receive a refund. I had to chase to find out when the refund would be made. Since then, I have had to chase the refund twice because it hasn't arrived. Now apparently I have to go through my credit card company to get the refund because Evans have a system error - an error which appears to have been going on for at least three months! Three months down the line and still no refund - the situation is totally unacceptable.

Absolute Rubbish Customer Service
Rubbish customer service. hermes failed to deliver, tried contacting Evans, message said we cant take your call and hung up. If I had read reviews first I would not have wasted my time and money.
UPDATE: What a combination rubbish support from Evans (email back said they would get back to me within 48 hours) and they use Hermes couriers, probably one of the worst couriers in the UK. The combination will prevent me from ever buying from Evans and I would recommend anyone buying elsewhere.
If only I had been to a few review sites first before buying I would miost definitely have shopped elsewhere. I would now say AVOID this company like the plague.
Never Anyone Answering The Cs Telephone Number.....
Ordered on line a cardigan and requested delivery to a pick up store in Felixstowe. Paid by Pay Pal , this was 2th November and wanted for my daughters birthday 6th December so I had plenty of time.
The On Line Account information against my order said.."being packed and ready for dispatch"....and never changed each time I logged in to see.
Tried every day the Customer Services number..just a recorded message sorry you are in a queue" and left to wait and wait and wait and wait....it really is so frustrating., Why can they not have a live Chat facility..or at least let you leave a number to call back...they must be extremely busy handling COMPLAINTS.
I will N E V E R order from them again.
Quality Is Getting Worse
I have always bought clothes from Evans. Recently the quality is awful. Jersey tops which have been washed a couple of times or only once are looking old already. They seem to get a tatty look about them. Just washed a new top after wearing it once, gold and black all the black has run and it was washed on a 30 wash. Quality is that bad lately it puts you off buying anything else!

This Shop Has Gone Downhil!!
I always used Evans but now I find their clothing poorly made, with fabrics that don't last. They are very expensive too and for people with curvy figures their styles no longer flatter. It's like they are making size zero clothing in plus size sizes!!
Their customer service is diabolical and you are on hold for a long time with no chat or email option.
I certainly wont be using this shop again as their are better and less expensive alternatives out there.
Dreadful Online Service
I haven't ordered anything for nearly a year due to previous problems encountered with deliveries. Ordered yesterday for delivery today & no updates at all with the Yodel tracking - called Evans several times only to get their "technical issues" message. When I eventually got through was just told yes it was for delivery today as that service paid for but if it doesn't arrive today it will be there Monday & then just call us & we will refund the delivery charge. What the heck?! I've paid for next day delivery, I expect next day delivery not a refund (that takes 3 - 5 days to boot) & a delivery when they feel like it with me having to contact them for a refund due to them not providing the service I paid for! How do they get away with advertising a service they cannot provide? Will never purchase from there again.
