I love birchwood equestrian centre because they have amazing horses and they are so well cared for.Also the yard is clean and the instructors are amazing. I LOVE SPIKE!

Birchwood riding school is amazing. I used to go to a different riding school where we always did the same things and I hardly learnt anything. But in the half an hour I was at Birchwood, I learnt more than what I did in the 2 years I had been going to my old riding school. Prices are very reasonable and the horses are absolutely fantastic. If you do start there, then I highly recommend you get a session with Mel as she is the best teacher a beginner, novice or intemidiate rider could ask for. The best horse they have is one called Doc. She will trot, canter ans gallop if you really ask him. Doc will make you work but that means that he will strengthen your legs and make sure that you can get a gallop out of even the laziest of horses! Birchwood even has a area for spctators/mums and dads to sit and watch riders which has a roof to guard from mother nature. The best horses with the best teachers! Birchwood really is the best place to go.

Birchwood Equestrian Centre is an amazing place to go for everyone. There are always horses available for loan and usually livery available for the horses. In the school holidays or celebration days, there is always a fun day to be had! The staff are friendly and supportive. There are lots of riding ponies : Muffy, Charlie, Lacey, Shannon, Holly, Spike, Doc, Shine, Ronnie and Quilty. The lessons are fun and the instructors let you do different things every week! I have been riding for 2 years now and I've enjoyed every minute of it! There are lots of places to hack on quite roads leading into the countryside, our group named 2 horses we go by Cookie and Barbara!

my name is lucy holden i started on the 9 i loooooove it i would tell every horse rider to go my teacher is mell i'v rode shine and holly when i rode holly she bucked i dint fall of i wipped her gently i liked trotting and walking there waset anything that i dint like my mum mite stat i bring treats and lead her out the stable i woud of liked to of known wat horse i was riding when i was riding on holly i saw shine and other horses 3 words to tell u wot it is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEHFECT!!!!!!!!!! BRILLLLLL SO WHY DONT U ALL GO TO

Birchwood is an amazing place the horses are well looked after and have a great place to live.There stables are nice and the right size for the horses i go there every week on a saturday at half eight and i really enjoy it i would recomend birchwood to anyone the place is amazing it is very clean and hygenic and i love it!!!!!!

Ive been going to Birchwood Equestrian Centre for ages and i love it down there. All the horses are treated perfectly and all the girls with horses down there are all really nice and everyone helps each other. The pony days and weeks are just hilarious :)

We seriously are the birchwood babes.

The horse are well treated and have all the things they needand have a satble all night which inside has food water bedding and hay .

I have been there nearly 7 years now and in all my time the the horses huave been well treated and have had all the things that they need.

Also the person i no that works there has been there nearly eva since it opened and she ses nothing as horrible as they put it has happened. i am disgusted on what some of the people on here try to make birchwood out to be.

It is a brilliant place and it may be a bit pricy but not everyhitng is going to be perfect is it soo finaal thing to say is birchwood is greatt xx

I keep my own pony at Birchwood Equestrian Centre Derbyshire - it is the best place to go there is almost always an experienced person on the yard. I have been there for two years now and have had two ponies there and they have helped me so much with my previous and present pony. Although you have to go on roads to get to the nearest hack it is still worth when you are off the roads. I would recommend this place to any rider.This riding school has a very positive atmosphere all the time. I look forward to going there every time i go without a doubt!.

I've been to Birchwood Equestrian Centre Derbyshire now for around 5 years now and I couln't wish to go to a better stables and all the horses are well looked after and my faverate is charlie. Everyone is very friendly and the horses are brill:)
