They got one star only because you can't give no stars
I live 120 miles away from this company and I paid a £100 refundable holding deposit on a car by credit card with the intention of going to see it a week later. During that week I read reviews about this company and was horrified. I spoke to Trading Standards in Uxbridge who told me that Carland were on their radar and that there were many complaints so I decided not to deal with them at all. I called and told them I wouldn't be coming to see the car and asked for my £100 to be refunded to the card. Straight away I got attitude and I was told that refunds could only be made with the card present (anyone that processes cards in their business knows this is untrue and cardholder not present refunds can be made) and that they would need my bank details to refund me. After having spoken Trading Standards there was no way they were getting any bank details and I have cancelled my credit card.

I purchased a BMW from CarLand. They were very helpful to find me a suitable car within my budget. Although I was there for a good few hours, they did help as much as they could. I've been driving it for a few months now and it hasn't given me any problems. I guess some get lucky and some are unlucky. but overall fab car and good service.

They Are Liars!!! purchased A Used Car From Them A
They are liars!!! Purchased a used car from them and within a week of purchasing the car it was due for service. It had just had MOT done a week before i bought it.Took the car to the car dealership for service and I was told the car was not road worthy. I called them but they did not want to know. The brakes on the car were worn out(both front and back), the back tyres were binding, ball joint leaking, reverse lights not working, wipers worn out! They did not want to know or help out.

I know it's no comfort to those who have been mis-treated by these guys but I'm ever so glad I googled the company for reviews before I embarked on my journey from Kent to see a car that, on the face it, looks amazing. I made 2 calls to them and could hardly understand what was being said, they sounded dis-interested (and this is without even meeting them in person!!)
I would say don't be tempted to use them, listen to other reviews before handing over your cash. plenty of good and reputable companies out there - continue searching elsewhere!!!

Repair Costs Have Totalled The Value Of The Car
Appalling servicing on the car before purchase. Low mileage and not too expensive but that is obviously for a reason. I've had numerous problems with the car since purchase and had to take it in for a coil replacement within a week of purchase. It's been constantly rattling and juddering since purchasing the vehicle along with squeaky and clunking brakes. I've had to spend over £2000 on a cam shaft and brakes overhaul which you would not expect within 2 years of purchase. You would think that they might have considered these issues occurring before selling me the vehicle and I feel they have made a rather dishonest sale. I am very disappointed with this car and would not even consider using their services again due to shoddy workmanship. There was barely even a drop of fuel in the car either on purchase which would just contribute to further engine damage after purchase. Extremely disappointing.

Bought a Nissan Qashqai plus 2 last week. Car looks in good condition and driving well. The guys dealing with were really good and friendly gave a lot of advice and even helped with the insurance. OVerall very good experience.

Liars!!!
Bought a used car with low mileage, within a week the i'd had to purchase new battery as the one it came with had already died. Had to change 3 wheels as they kept going flat and within all this kept calling them and even tho we'd purchased 1yr warranty they said there was nothing much they could do. Initially, they kept lying they would call back and then they said they could not help. I told them i was returning the car as more problems kept coming, the brakes needed changing as well, but they refused to take it back.
Dont buy their cars. They are big liars!!!!

Please avoid at all cost. BIG LIARS! i was desperate as i need a car for work and was broke. could only find cheapest car from there with least problems.
car not as advertised. more millage as it was in use by their staff. it was an insurance write off but not advertised. only told when collecting car. did not offer the warranty as advertised. i had no choice has i done everything, transferred insurance from old car. was either this or nothing.
Please avoid these dishonest clowns. they do body work on cars and dont tell you.i overheard them talking about this for a previous sale.
