In My Opinion This Is A Glorified Pizza Express...
In my opinion this is a glorified pizza express...It's owned by the same chain so no surprises there. The food at Kettners is ok, however I felt a tad over priced for what it is.The private dining rooms are great for parties and are full of character (Oscar Wilde used to dine here).Before dinner have a pre dinner drink in the Champagne Bar. The house champagne is quite reasonable and very drinkable (too drinkable).
I found this review not helpful because...the reviewer had obviously never eaten in the old Kettner's.
The refurb killed a London instituion - stone dead.

The Very Ornate Decoration Make This Restaurant A
The very ornate decoration make this restaurant a joy to sit in (and to drink lots and lots of wine in). The service is excellent, but I can't help feeling that you are paying slightly over price for a slightly better than average pizza express. However, you can always guarantee a nice pizza or plate of pasta here. If you want to know that you'll have a successful evening out in Soho then go to Kettners. It's good for groups of friends to have a get together and know that there will be something for everyone.
