Rubbish And Has Chemicals In It
This product is so rubbish but I have used it for a long time and since they changed the packaging and the formula it is not good at all. Does not even cover Greys at all and is all clumpy. So don't waste your money and time dying your hair. And it claims to be chemical free which it is not it contains PPD.
I wish I read your review prior to using this product. My scalp is still irritated and itching from usage two days ago... Do not purchase this product is your hair is used to real henna. My hair is thin and this product caused me increased hair loss after usage

Ok But Could Be Better
I have always loved dying my hair and now I am going grey its even more important. Unfortunately about 12 months ago I suffered an allergic reaction to my normal Loreal hair dye. I then went on to try lots of others the reaction getting worse each time. I had to find something without phd and I came across this product. I was over the moon when I first tried it. No reaction only shiny lovely coloured hair but it just doesn't last long enough. Within about 6-8 washes it has gone again. I wish I could find something more permanent that is still gentle. If anyone knows of anything let me know.
I also suddenly started having reactions to hair dye products - so frustrating. I am not ready to go grey yet so I started using Vatika Henna Natural Brown. I understand your reference to fading, but for the price I think what the heck. Also I have just started leaving it on 45 minutes - fingers crossed.
Do you also have the same reactions to other general hair products? I feel I am lucky I found an unscented shampoo I can use. Hair spray I can use very sparingly and a no go for gels or like.

I would really recommend looking on the renaissance henna website. There is a loads of helpful, expert information about henna and also indigo and cassia. I have used henna for years and since I started going grey, I use indigo as well to tone the henna down as bright henna orange is not flattering for me. You can get cheaper henna elsewhere, but renaissance is better quality imho.
Horrible.
I had very blonde hair. It was slowly getting darker, I wanted a shampoo to PROTECT my blonde hair. I did not want a dye, on the box of the shampoo it DID NOT say it was a dye. Only in tiny letters at the back of the box, and I only notice after I used the product, now my hair is like orange. You guys know there is no such plant as blonde henna. I don't know why you tried to mix stuff to try make it. It is totally unacceptable. I do NOT reccomend it to anyone.
Thank you.

Its Okay For A Herbal Hair Dye
This made my very dark brown hair a nice dark red colour, but the red was more visible in the sun, but for a hair dye that has NO chemicals it gave me a overall good colour, but its a very messy application but worth it.

I Tried All Sort Of Hair Dyes Which Claimed No Rea
I tried all sort of hair dyes which claimed no reaction. I suffered months' reaction. rashes. itching and buring sensation. Henna hair dye caused no reaction. Perfect. The only thing is that it does not dye very well. It may be better second time round.
I have become really allergic to hair dyes (PHD) and henna is the only thing I can use that doesn't cause a reaction. I do love it but it doesn't last long enough. I have to wash my hair every day so its almost all gone in 10 days. Wish I could find something that would last longer

I Used A Chestnut Brown Henna Hair Dye To Get Back
I used a chestnut brown henna hair dye to get back to my natural colour from blonde, to get rid of my roots. There was only a subtle colour change, but that was what I was aiming for. I left it on for about one and a half hours, the recommended time was half an hour to two hours, depending on how intense you wanted the colour. The result was absolutely stunning! It has done absolute wonders for the condition of my hair - I used to dye my hair a lot, and it was quite long and brittle, and I get split ends really easily. It strengthened my hair so much, it's barely recognisable! It's so shiny and gorgeous now! When it catches the light it looks like spun gold - I'm not exaggerating, it really is a fabulous dye. As well as completely revitalising my hair it's given it a lovely, subtle, sophisticated golden-brown tones, leaving all my highlights visible. It looks so natural and classy, I would recommend it to everyone!!!

I Found Your Comment About Henna Hair Dye Rea
I found your comment about Henna Hair Dye really true. There is nothing like it even if it is a little more work and a lot more messy. Henne is depending your case too red (over grey hair, in my case) and i am mixing it with a black"caca" from "Lush" products but i just read that you were using indigo.

I Have Used Henna Hair Dye On My Hair Since I Was
I have used Henna Hair Dye on my hair since I was 15, I am now 50! In the last few years, the grey coming in around my temples began to look too orange, my normal hair colour is very dark. Having discovered when I went to the hairdressers, that going lighter with highlights would need to wait because of the henna, I then grew out the henna over 3 years, using dye on the new growth. My hair became spoiled. I have always had lovely, glossy hair which people commented on, because of the henna conditioning it. Last week, guess what? I have thrown all the dyes out and gone back to henna mixed with indigo, to give a natural dark brown colour without the red henna going orange on the grey - result, glossy hair, in much better condition. I will be steering clear of normal hair dye in the future, and what a relief to be back with my beloved henna, and my hair looking like a natural color instead of a bottle dyed job, which is so obvious on women my age and looks all wrong with older skin tones. Hurray for henna.
What brand do you recommend? My daughter has dark brown hair and would like to have a dark red tint to it. I feel a little more comfortable letting her try the Henna if others have had good, lasting and safe results with it.
I found this review very helpful because... I am completely grey and because I have used ordinary hair dyes for over 20 years now and have been very concerned about media scares about all the chemicals that are in dyes as I do get cystitis quite often and have heard normal dyes can cause bladder cancer. I felt a bit worried because of all the 'orange' reports but because of the ladies report who is 50 I am keeping my fingers crossed that it might work for me. Thank you to the lady who wrote this review.
