Appalling Telephone Service

The per-temps customer service phone number.

I applied for a job and completed registration 3 weeks ago. I did not hear anything after emailing and calling multiple times , they don’t respond nor pick up. After waiting 10 minutes on the phone to finally reach an agent. He was extremely rude and disrespectful in his manner. He did not answer my enquiry and hung up the phone call.

They are unprofessional and lack basic communication skills and make false promises. I am disgusted and appalled.

In Safe Hands

Like so many people, I found myself reflecting on my future over the Covid period, asking questions, such as quality of life, working closer to home and wanting to making a difference, on that basis, I updated my CV to explore opportunities.

Finding the right job wasn't so easy, with agencies approaching me with the 'perfect opportunities', doing all they can, to get me to interviews,can I suggest, wanting to earn a quick buck for my exploits. When looking for new job, time is precious, you still have a responsibility to your currently employer, it is difficult to go to multi interviews, unless out of working hours, and trying not to draw attention.

Pertemps - Crawley approached me, seeing my CV, believing they could find a position that best suited me, with some possible positions available. No promises were made, we had a open conversation and rather than just focusing on my CV, he took time to listening to me, understand all my needs and its fair to say I felt he could make an honest assessment, what role would suit my experience.

He found a role for me, not in a sector I had been in previous but with a company that that needed my skill and knowledge to progress their business.

I thoroughly, enjoy what I am doing now and excited of my future moving forward, and I can thank Pertemps, for his help and Support.

And just to show how much Pertemps care, I received a welcoming card, on my first day at work.

The management in lymington post office do not not got a clue how to treat new staff they just leave you there and think you should now what you are doing ,all the other staff can not believe how they treat new staff,I loved the job and the staff but could not take (NOT) being trained properly by the management...

Temporary Assignment With Royal Mail

Finished assignment early, but Pertemps paid as expected and promptly. I learnt on my first assignment to call your senior consultant a few days after commencing, "The client[Royal mail] finds some are underperforming, do your best, otherwise they will release you early."

On my second day, the really friendly Royal Mail manager said, "You appear to be struggling on your first day." I made a poor first impression, "Need to speed up and get out on the round." Finally, my last day, at this stage I was on the verge of panic, I made a call to my busy Royal Mail manager, "My first parcel's got the wrong postcode, what do you want me to do?" Next day another (the really friendly) Royal Mail manager said, "Your assignment is terminated". Think clearly, be constantly enthusiastic and do the job to the best of your ability and all will be well

I was asked if I was interested in a particular temporary position once I said yes the Agency staff submitted my CV to the company then gave me a coaching session on what to do at interview. As it had been a while since my last interview I appreciated this refresher. They also advised that I should research the Company to give me confidence at the Interview.

I got the Job!!! I have been here now just over 9 months and this temporary position will soon come to an end but I am certain that staff are looking for an alternative position for me

First Interview - Got It!!

Having only registered with Pertemps Manchester this week, they arranged for me to attend a interview within a day. The guidance and support was excellent, the passion and enthusiasm to support me gave me the confidence to excel in the interview and be selected for the job.

Three Days A Week Because She As Overstaffed The Job

I have worked for pertemps for six years and in those six years I have had regular work Monday to Friday and the odd Saturday when asked if I could and enjoyed the job so much with the staff that ran Pertemps and they treated you like you were

needed,BUT since a new manager arrived this year my work and other staffs work as gone from five days down to three days and sometimes two I have had a conversation with this manager letting her know my situation that I need the shifts as my wife has lost her job, but she is not bothered she gives you the lip service but cannot do the job,plus I really think she does not like me and I am considering the victimisation route and compiling a file at the moment for going to tribunal or other sources. There is major unrest amongst the workforce but it as not hit the point of the men getting to the point of striking but it will if this woman continues on the path she is going along, I myself am looking to other agencies as Pertemps is not the great agency it once was and I for one feel sorry for all that have worked and are working there, this women as flooded the job so has to keep her job because she is not professional enough to be able to balance a workforce evenly to meet the numbers required so she floods the place with workers who then pay the price of short weeks people who want to work but can't because there are too many staff who want five day weeks, sad so so sad beware Pertemps people like this woman will bring you down, It is a shame because most of the staff in this workplace are friendly and were very approachable until this woman arrived now everybody and I mean everybody are down and not very happy with the way she runs the place and the company we do the work for have already had meetings about her with the unrest in the warehouse and this will eventually spread to the Transport side with the drivers in Crewe.

Look Like They Are Going Bankruptcy

Pertemp are not paying workers and short paying worker workers are complaining that they can not pay and have To wait weeks to get paid when payments are made it is not what due It is short
