Horrible!!

You need to be extremely careful when you go for the memembership option, Like another reviewer has rightly pointed out, they mis sell it to customers. They are very pushy when you sign up, I intially joined in for a three month period, even after which money was deducted from my account even before the start of the month. And after asking them to credit ot back, they weren't ready and said I had to give a month's notice to cancel,so lost another ££ in the process.

And also the parking ticket validation doesn't work most of the times and Ive had to pay myself. Stay away!!

Poor Management

The club itself is not bad, but the management aren't reliable. They increase the monthly charges without warning, and if you cancel your membership, you might end up with a charge coming out of your account in error. If you join, beware.

I Would Be Interested If Anyone Has Experienced Th

I would be interested if anyone has experienced this or is it just me that seems fussed over it all. Living Well used to be first class but going there now seems to stress me out more than I went with in the first place!

I agree with you. I belong to the Living Well attached to the Dunblane HIlton and ever since it opened there has been a steady turn over of staff.

I only stay with it because of the swimming pool. Recently they closed for refurbishment and when it reopened there were so many complaints that the manager has resigned!

Today for instance . First of all I was handed a wet towel. I complained and got given a smelly one instead. The lockers are constantly broken and I lost a £1 coin trying to get one to work, the changing room now has low level lighting so we operate in sem-darkness, the partitions betweent he showers have been removed, the shower heads are very weak, the coat hangars have been removed so there is nowhere to hang wet clothes, the jacuzzi jets have been altered so the water goes up in the air instead of down into the pool, the grills around the edge of the pool are covered in green algae.

OK these are petty things in the grand scale of things but we pay over £500 a year and surely it is not asking much for some basic facilities?

Livingwell Is A Pleasant Club. It Has A Homely Fee

LivingWell is a pleasant club. It has a homely feel to it. It used to be exclusive, but since they have pushed for so many members, it can be extremely busy and unfortunately, not clean.

The gym equipment is no better than the equipment in my local council run leisure centre. The prices go up every year, so I've decided to leave and go to my local leisure centre, and save my hard earned cash!!
