Quick Seamless Playing With The Sony Cdp-cx355. Wh
Quick seamless playing with the Sony CDP-CX355. When playing random it seems to "read" what sort of song and only play that type. ie you wont get mozart then ACDC. The disc display isn't rolling so you have to abbreviate sometimes. also it would be good if not time consuming to be able to label tracks. An excellent piece of home entertainment equipment. i've had mine 8 years and i love it.

The Sony Cdp-cx355 Holds 300 Cds And Is Effectivel
The Sony CDP-CX355 holds 300 CDs and is effectively a personal jukebox. As you would expect the footprint of the CDP-CX355 is large (17 x 17.5 x 19.4 inches) - accommodating 300 CDs in a carousel design takes a lot of room. To whom will this CD player appeal? Well a number of record labels now produce box sets of CDs and the CDP-CX355 will therefore appeal to anyone who buys box sets. For example my CDP-CX355 contains the complete works of Mozart (170 CDs), all of Haydn's symphonies (33 CDs) and the Masterworks of Handel (40 CDs) and Beethoven (40 CDs) with space left over. It's also possible to cascade two or more CDP-CX355s to give enhanced capacity. Needless to say you have to create your own catalogue for the CD locations. There are numerous control features on the CDP-CX355, for example setting up a programme sequence of tracks to play - referred to as Grouping. Another nice feature is the ability to connect a PS/2 computer keyboard which allows you to attach some text to each CD location. Generally a very pleasing piece of kit.
