I was so excited when my X-treme XP-700 arrived but my expectations changed after I opened it.
When it arrived it had two broken cables, and after I emailed the people that claimed that they would repair any problems for free they refused to right back. I also thought that the body parts were weak and flimsy.

When I First Got The X-treme Xp-700 I Was Totally
When I first got the X-treme XP-700 I was totally excited it is really cool and I disagree with Gary's review. I think that it was well wOrth the money and that it makes a great birthday gift. Plus it comes in great colors just for You!
Got some pictures or proof that you actually own this thing? because my cousin's came broken too? The only thing good that came from them was the X010 scooter, which didn't even work until I fiddled around with the wire configurations.

My First X-treme Xp-700 Arrived Damaged. The Fari
My first X-treme XP-700 arrived damaged. The farings that make up the exterior of the bike were all cracked. It was quite damaged. The company sent me replacement parts two times that were incorrect. If I had to guess I would say they were sending me components for the gas powered version. I provided digital pictures and still ended up with improper parts. Then in an effort to get started while they sorted out the parts, I repaired the farings with glue so that we could begin to use it. I wired it improperly (the instructions didn't include a wiring diagram). This caused the controller to burn out which ruined the batteries. To the company's credit, they sent me a new bike that was in good shape. I had to return the old broken bike at my expense, $50. Electronically the bike was sound and the farings were all intact, but the front caliper was engaged and I simply couldn't figure out how to undo it. You can't get through to tech support via the phone number posted, it's always busy. I posted questions on their web site. They answered my questions insuffiently and closed my tickets. Frustrated, I put the bike away. This winter I set myself on a course to dismantle the brake and figure it out. I finally determined that using appropriate depth washers inserted between where the two parts of the front caliper connect to each other would allow the wheel to spin freely and still allow sufficient stopping power. However, several months of no use and no charge caused the batteries to die and no longer take a charge. So $60 for a new set of batteries and we're back in business. I am now $410 into this $300 bike and I doubt my son has ridden it for more that 3 hours in one year.
Finally, virtually every time you unscrew something the metal work is so cheap that you strip the threads. Be prepared to have an assortment of self threading screws, bolts and washers to compensate for these issues. Bottom line, spend more money and get a dirt bike made by known manufacturer with a retail shop and service center in your neighborhood. This is a regrettable impulse item. Also, think through where you are going to ride this. It will bounce your bottom sore on grass or dirt as there are no shocks. It is simply plastic bolted to metal on wheels with no bussing to soften the rattles and bumps in any way. If you let your kid ride it in the street you're nuts or prone to endangering the welfare of minors. We end up using the jogging track when no one is on it or the black top area at neighborhood parks.

I Bought The The X-treme Xp-700 Scooter For My Son
I bought the The X-treme XP-700 Scooter for my son. Out of the box the decorative frame barings (body parts) were damaged in many places probably due to shipping.
During assembly it was impossible to get the seat to bolt in the four places it was supposed to be fastened. I had to settle for two of four fastening points. The build quality is poor. Not all the screws fit properly in their threads. In two cases the screws were not long enough to reach the frame.
The unit is flimsy and prone to problems. In one month my son has used it for about 90 minutes of riding time. I have had to replace the controller and the batteries are reading significantly diminished capacity after charging.
After two rounds of obtaining replacement parts, I am now getting a whole new bike.
I would say before you make this sort of purchase, check it out in person to see what you are getting. The pictures of this bike are far more impressive than its appearance in person.
When it has been operational, my son seems to be enjoying it tremendously, but those times have been few since we took it out of the box.
The First Extreme Xp-700 Electric Scooter / Pocket
The first Extreme XP-700 Electric Scooter / Pocket Bike was delivered damaged. The box was sent back to FedEx to be inspected for the claim that I submitted for damage in transit. It was determined by FedEx that it was shipped from the warehouse already damaged. The box was used (excessive packing tape)and dirty. It was obviously returned before by another customer. The second Extreme XP-700 Pocket Bike that we received was also damaged and appeared to be altered by someone. I believe that this scooter was originally manufactured with a 500 watt motor and was changed to accept a 700 watt motor. There are deep grind marks in the frame by the motors mounting bolts. The batteries are supposed to be fully charged upon delivery according to the people I spoke with at the Tech Center. The batteries looked used and had no water in them at all. The seat/tank cover is cracked. One side panel that makes up the fairing is cracked. The batteries will not charge. The Tech center said that they will send us a new controller in 3 to 5 weeks. It's already been a month and we still haven't even ridden it yet. The folks at the tech center have no idea what they are selling and couldn't answer simple questions. The tires say not to exceed 2.5 atm??? I found on my own that this is equals just over 35 psi. The Tech Center has no idea what the red and green lights, that are located on the handlebar, are for. I thought it was strange that you only have 24 hours to call the Tech Center after it has been delivered to make a damage claim and also that it only has a 30-day warranty. I would not suggest that anyone purchase this product. You can expect it to be delivered damaged and in need of repair. Stay away from this one.
Well, mines getting to my house tomorrow. And if they said (what was wrong with yours) with all that damage and battery issues they would send me a new one, and ship the broken one back. But if a couple parts were broken they would send the parts right away
