Calistoga, Edinburgh

My wife and I love Calistoga because the ever-changing menu is really imaginative and they have one of the cheapest good quality wine lists in Edinburgh. It's also very friendly without being in your face.

Very good and beautifully presented food for a very reasonable price (we had the set three course lunch menu for £14.50) and great music! Will certainly be back!

I was really impressed by the standard of the food at Calistoga - it was some of the best I've had in Edinburgh. I had a quail's egg salad followed by tuna tempura- I feel hungry just thinking about it! It was definitely on the expensive side but I felt it was worth it. The staff were friendly but not too obtrusive. They told me they've just opened so please visit them- they deserve to do well!!
