Attended This Hotel Between 16 Sep And 23 Sep 2010
Attended this hotel between 16 Sep and 23 Sep 2010 with my brother, sister and a friend. On the last day of our holiday (22 Sep at about 1:15AM), a man we had met at a bar earlier in the holiday and had gotten to know over the course of a few days burst into the hotel reception acting in an aggressive and threatening manner towards the duty receptionist, demanding a key to our room. He falsely claimed that he was a good friend of mine and that I had agreed that he could stay in my room at the hotel. The only evidence he produced to back up his claims was knowledge of my full name. Despite his threatening bahaviour, dubious claim of association and the fact he was clearly inebriated, the duty receptionist (named Pedro) for reasons I am yet to fathom, hired this man a key to our room for 47'. The man then proceeded to enter the room, where my 23-year old sister was sleeping, and demanded money for alcohol and drugs. When she responded that she didn't have any money, he attempted to assault her. She was terrified and ran out of the hotel room screaming with the man in pursuit. She ran into reception while he waited outside by the pool for her to come out. My brother and I then turned up and together with the hotel's single on duty security guard, managed to subdue the man. I requested that he be refunded his 47' and be ejected from the hotel and Pedro agreed. We thought this was the end of the matter until 7:00AM when we were all woken up by someone trying to kick the door down. It was the same man. The same duty receptionist, Pedro, had actually HIRED HIM A ROOM IN THE HOTEL!!!! This goes beyond negligence. I am in the process of writing to Fiesta Club's Head Office, Thompson, ABTA and the Foreign Office demanding that Paedro be relieved of his position and the Hotel's security procedures investigated. In the meantime, I am left with a family mentally in tatters by what Fiesta Club Palm Beach, which claims to be a family hotel, allowed to happen.
It's a shame about the security problems and attitude of the staff because this was otherwise a nice hotel - nice location, clean well equipped rooms, large, clean pool area, lots of sunbeds and even the food was good.

We Just Got Back From The Fiesta Club Palm Beach O
We just got back from the Fiesta Club Palm Beach October 2003 We had an excellent time 3 adults 76,40,39 and 6 children 17,16.13,11,10,8
there was something for everyone
restaurant-food was great plenty choices to choose from
rooms-were cleaned every day
entertainment staff-were really friendly and got us roped in to all sorts of activities
cocktail games, killer pool, rifle shooting, archery, vollyball, football, mini golf, waterpolo, limbo, giant jenga, pingpong etc
we tried everything competing with each other to see who could win the most diplomas
Evening entertainment was also excellent with a different show every night. Starlight Express, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Lion king. Guest v entertainers watch them they cheat!!!!!!also many more plus Miss Palm Beach which was hilarious.
Thanks Anna, Marco, Jenny, Bran, Xavi, little b, of the fiesta reps and Craig and Richie and the rest of the Thomson's gang for a fun packed fortnight even when we had the bad weather for our second week you kept us smiling
The all inclusive option-cost 162 euros per adult(over 18) and 99 euros per child for 13 days drinks only, this included beers, spirits, bottles wine, champagne, bottles water, soft drinks, teas, coffees etc
This option was well worth it i think the 4 youngest kids must have drunk there moneys worth in the first 3 days lol. Every time you passed them they had a chocolate milk in their hands.
The pool-was cold but once you got in it it was fine there was a small section for the toddlers then the big pool which was shallow at on end and deep the other end there was a life guard on all day, plenty of sun beds
kids clubs and mini discos kept the children amused and active
I would recommend this holiday to anyone with a family who wanted to be guaranteed a super family holiday
