Terrible Service
Terrible worst service, no communication and rescheduled my package. First they give you a timeslot then they missed that and then say end of day, again missed that, no package. This happened 2 days in a row, rang UPS customer service they said end of day, still nothing.

Do Not Use Ups
This is the final version of a review I originally wrote on 8 September. I bought a second-hand printed item from Europe in August, and UPS have behaved disgracefully over their failure to deliver it. First they gave me no information about the delivery; then when I rang up I received inaccurate information from someone who did not understand what I was asking; then I received inaccurate information via the UPS website (which told me the package would be delivered on a certain date – it was not – then said it would be delivered the next day – it was not). I requested more information by e-mail, twice, and finally received a call from someone who told me that the package had been held pending the payment of custom duties and a fee. This was the first I had heard of this. There should not have been any duties on this item, as the import of printed matter is not taxable. UPS tried to extort this money from me, and also from the sender. At this point the sender requested the return of the item. After this was achieved, UPS continued to attempt to extort the "customs" duties and fee, first from me and then from the sender, despite the duty not being due, and the package having been returned (so not imported). They harassed the bookseller who had sent the item, and intimidated him, until he paid the fee (which amounted to nearly 300 Euros). I complained about this process throughout, stating my case and asking UPS to waive the charges and stop harassing the bookseller. But they replied with bland formulae (like those they use to answer Trustpilot reviews) and refused to help, insisting that the duty and fee were due. And they insisted that if any refund were to be claimed it had to be done by the sender (the bookseller), who wanted nothing more to do with UPS after this experience. I asked them to sort it out. But they said there was nothing they could do. I have now re-imbursed the sender the cost of the "duty" and fee because it was not fair that he should have paid it, having been bullied into doing so, and to letting the matter drop, by UPS. This is quite outrageous. UPS has made 300 Euros out of an innocent victim, whose only mistake was to use UPS in the first place. They have their money and are satisfied. But I am not, and I would like to make public how appallingly UPS have behaved. DO NOT USE UPS! And do not believe their bland statements that "This is not the experience that we want you to have". They do not care for their customers and the only thing that will move them is if they start to lose income through a loss of reputation. So, I would say, DO NOT USE UPS, and pass this message on, and encourage everyone you know to repeat the message: DO NOT USE UPS.

Worst Company In The History Of Mankind
WORST DELIVERY SERVICE COMPANY IN THE HISTORY of MANKIND
I bought a mattress from Emma that was to be delivered on Tuesday. I've received an email from UPS saying that the item will be delivered on Tuesday. Unfortunately no delivery.
Then another email on Wednesday that the item will be delivered on Wednesday. Waited all day & no delivery. Then I called UPS on Wednesday evening and they then tell me that my whole address was not printed on the label because of which delivery couldn't be completed. Funny thing is the gentleman who does the deliveries in my area has been doing deliveries for some years. Customer service then took my full address & informed me that I will receive the item on Thursday. Guess what still didn't receive.
I call UPS again on Friday morning and I speak with a gentleman who says that it's out for delivery. Waited till 6pm & still not received. Now I call again and the customer service representative says that lo & behold they forgot my mattress. I asked to speak with a manager who really didn't want to talk & for whom I waited nearly 30 - 40mins. Managers who then during the conversation contradicts herself twice.
Absolutely appalling service. I will never use UPS again nor will I recommend. Pity I can't give zero stars.

Avoid
UPS turned out to be one of the most useless and high-handed large companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
Just over a month ago I paid for Express Saver delivery (‘delivery in 1-3 business days’, ’in-house customs clearance’) of a laptop from the UK to Ibiza island, Spain; before the laptop weas picked up I filled in the 3 copies of the customs declaration as required. The shipment was picked up on time and arrived in Barcelona the next day – where it stayed for over 2 weeks.
After 2 days of noticing it was still in Barcelona and had not moved on, I contacted UPS and was told the Spanish customs needed more information and/or forms about the recipient and shipment; this was given but the shipment still stayed where it was. A week later, I contacted UPS again who asked for more information and/or forms for customs and some information that had already been given (twice before in some cases) but still the shipment stayed where it was. A day later, I formally complained to UPS and, by a curious coincidence, the same day Spanish customs released the shipment and it was allowed to continue to Ibiza arriving a few days later.
At no time during this period were UPS proactive in expediting the delivery by requesting from us information along the lines of ‘Please provide X for Spanish customs to allow us to pass the shipment for delivery’. We were always the ones asking what they needed to continue the delivery process, and if we had not asked the laptop could be sitting in Barcelona to this day.
UPS maintain that it was Spanish customs that caused the hold-up and (be aware!) are not responsible for any consequential losses due to the delay. (We had to source another laptop to replace the one that had not arrived.) While I can believe the it was Spanish customs that were the ultimate cause of the delay, UPS refuse to accept any responsibility for the lack of communication with us or errors that caused the hold up, and as a consequence we will not be receiving a ‘goodwill gesture’ from them.

Appalling Service, Dont Believe A Word They Say
Don't believe the 1 star - it is just because this site doesn't allow entry of no stars!
A week before Christmas we sent a 1kg parcel from us in France to our daughter in the UK. We picked a service guaranteeing delivery for the 24th Dec as advertised on Parcel2Go.com
It was picked up on the afternoon of the 21st and we were overjoyed when the parcel tracking showed that it was in their Stanford-Le-Hope centre the following afternoon. Trouble was UPS didn't achieve the 24th Delivery but said it would be the 27th, disappointing but just acceptable given the time of year.
However they failed to deliver then too.
From that date, and despite the parcel displaying customs information UPS kept trying to obtain clearance. However our daughter ascertained that there were no additional charges to pay! That didn't stop UPS saying that she had to pay £27 to the driver.
I think the muppets that UPS employ in their customer service centre don't realise they are actually meant to provide a customer with service, they just say what they think the customer wants to hear to get them off the phone.
Today, a month on from booking the service our daughter was at home talking to my wife on the phone during which they both received an email (as receipient and sender) saying that they had attempted delivery but the recipient wasn't available!
Our assumption is that the driver didn't want to walk up to the 2nd floor flat.
Bottom line is UPS PROVIDE APPALLING SERVICE, DO NOT BELEIVE A WORD THEY SAY
(Send your parcel with a more customer focussed company instead) AVOID
Discrimination
Refused service for not wearing mask, yet person in front of me receiving service had his mask below his chin. Such hypocrisy and discrimination at store 1261 in hillsboro Oregon. Unbelievable.

Useless, Going To Court To Get A Refund Because They Refuse
USELESS, Going to court to get a refund because they refuse
Paid for a 4 day delivery.
90 days later they finally admit to losing the parcel.
But it's not over, because they have found every excuse they can to drag out the refund process, and now I have to take them to court to get my money back.
UPS is the worst company to deal with. They are like children playing a game, making excuses and refusing to do anything they claim to do.
In the conversation so far, they have apologised more than 30 times. They repeatedly ask for my contact details and then offer a new review or investigation, assuring that someone will get in contact. I must have had 5 of these, and at no point has anyone contacted me about anything.
The continually return documents claiming missing information, when the information is in the document they return. Their stupid behaviour is unbelievable.
And then they will suggest you phone their support telephone number, which is only a good idea if you want to be put on hold for over an hour, to finally be told by some manager that they will sort it out, which of course they don't because no-one does anything they say they will do, ever!
Ups stands for USELESS, UNDERPERFORMING, UNDELIVERED
uPs stands for PATHETIC,
upS stands for words that refuse to be submitted here.
Use UPS if you don't want you parcel to arrive.
Use UPS if you want to waste your money.
Use UPS if you want a frustrating period of trying to get a refund, or any answers at all.
If you want your parcel to arrive, use another company.

Fantastic, Simple, Friendly, Good Price
After having a couple of problems with bigger parcels and parcel companies, it is difficult to find a parcel company you trust.
I could not fault UPS and I will continue to use them, we even sent a parcel to France after BREXIT not knowing whether it would arrive - we were updated the whole way through the tracker and it arrived within 4 days! we were given all the information and tools to send the parcel making it super easy.
The delivery guy that picks up our parcels from home is so friendly as well - its such a convenient service if used correctly.
